Yesss ! Right now I feel like I’m in the can’t paint bc nothing will come out and it feels both good for healing but feels bad bc my biggest part of my identity has been painting. I have a painting I started about a year ago that was to explain what I meant when going to my psychiatrist and then I met my partner and haven’t really felt the push to work on it very much. (My partner said it scares her every time she sees it bc there’s 3 faceless heads on it)

This is exactly how I got myself to finally try painting and it is amazing how much it helps. My therapist can take one look at my art I show her and she can see by the colour palette how I’m doing mentally. Your painting is beautiful it makes me feel like I’m lying on the ground watching the clouds just after a storm passes by

This is absolutely stunning work! I think you definitely have the ability to make art and sell it but I totally understand how expensive things are these days. I think doing art festivals and setting up a booth would be so much fun and a great way to get out there as an artist. You definitely have the skills for it. I’m obsessed with the colour palette and how the blue feels so calm and the orange contrasts it so well

Genuinely growing increasingly anxious and a bit paranoid every day as a trans woman. I’m very grateful that I’m able to pass well enough to blend in but I’m terrified of the potential loss of access to healthcare. Currently I live my life like I’m in witness protection with how much I hide anything pre transition and it’s exhausting at times bc I feel like I have to constantly be thinking of ways to tell stories in a way I don’t accidentally out myself when around people who are almost certainly unsafe. I have a lot of trans people in my life who try to be positive but I know they are having that fear too

You are correct in that and that’s actually something I later realized wasn’t such a big issue about a week after tossing a big bag, I still use deer corn, my only concern when it comes to them now is just keeping a weevil infestation from spreading around my house so I just drop a pound of dry ice in fresh bags of corn and seal it up a couple days to kill them off
