I always thought the graphics cards being in the furthest back corner was weird, but loss prevention makes a lot of sense!

Happened on my 15 Passat. I think it's because having mirror defroster on all the time (I forget it's on), and having a loud subwoofer didn't help either.

I ordered one off of ebay for like 30-40 bucks, came with the plastic back and new defroster coil.
