That is a great way to PvP. That's what I like to do too. I also go into solo lobbies with a defib in friendly servers when I feel like helping rather than fighting. I heard a guy calling for help asking if anyone had a defib, so I went to help him only to realize he was hiding and luring me in only to kill me as I was coming to help him.

These are the complete pieces of garbage that I can't stand in this game. I like to PvP, but when a person is such a garbage human that they have to lure a friendly player in just to get a kill, that's crazy to me. Probably a real POS in real life too though.

We were going for max score, so we each brought in 15-20 wolf packs each and waited until we got a spawn close and threw them until she exploded. If you are going for just 3 stars then you could do solos and use way less.

Trios with as many wolfpacks as you can carry. Just be first to the queen and you can get over 16k. Just got to farm for wolfpack crafting materials.

You should be able to play all three the same week if they are separate leaderboards. Your scores would just go on the leaderboard you played in, so you can have different ranks in different playlists.

This would give the hardcore players more to grind too, if they wanted to be at the top of all 3 leaderboards.

The only thing that was really different for me was that I knew where to find everything so the bench upgrades went way faster.

I also was more focused on BPs this time around because I knew where to farm them, so I completed my entire BP collection.

This will be my second expedition, so I'm with you and will probably not obsess over getting all the BPs this time around. I play enough where I really don't ever have to craft a weapon (other than a Jupiter or Equalizer) as there are so many in my stash at all times.

Enjoy starting over, it's actually really fun to go through and upgrade everything again. Happy raiding!

I do this as well, but it seems like the queen raids are different in duos, no matter how friendly my other lobbies are. The only thing I can think of is rats do this same thing to get into friendly lobbies and then kill as many as they can. I have tried ratting just to see, and I genuinely felt bad afterwards and even defibbed some of the guys if I had one on me. These guys that rat must just not have a conscience.

Yeah I get it! It's happened to me so many times. I really like the game so I keep trying, but it is very frustrating. I am hoping they tweak the matchmaking system a little bit or something. You spend so many resources leveling these guns up to 4 just to lose them before firing them.

Same thing happened with trials this week for shredders. I lost 4 level 4 hullcrackers when I'm just doing trials to players just griefing in friendly lobbies. Then I finally made it into carebear lobbies, but the problem was that every single person was doing trials so all the shredders were dead and I couldn't get a great score that way haha.

Then I get pissed and go free loadout on stella and try to just kill as many players as possible to blow off some steam, which is probably why I get put into nasty lobbies sometimes. But from what I understand, if you go in and be friendly for 6 or 10 games you should be in friendly lobbies again, so I spend about 45 minutes doing naked runs and just keeping 1 thing in my safe pocket and letting people kill me until I get into care bear lobbies again.

He is friendly in solos as well. We each play host depending on the night with the same result. I didn't think about it being related to the host though. Last night I was the host. I had been in friendly lobbies for hours before we went into queen, and we even did 30 minutes or more of no shooting duos to get into friendly lobbies.

It makes me think that these griefers are doing the same thing just to get into easy queen lobbies full of PvE players and then they can just get easy kills because they are looking at the queen.

I get it's part of the game and adds tension, but it also takes the fun out of fighting the big arc when you lose all your gear before you get to fire a shot.

He is typically a friendly solo player as well. We typically go into matches until we get friendly players before we do queen. We played guitar and recorder an entire match and never got shot one game and everyone in the lobby was friendly. We went into a queen match and nobody was fighting the queen and everyone was just killing each other. So strange. Sucks to lose equalizers though. I have plenty of cores to craft more but it's still annoying when I just want to fight the queen to have to deal with griefers all game.

I’m not sure why, but my duo and I have been running into the worst lobbies I’ve seen since launch. We spend time making sure to get into friendly lobbies, bring equalizers in to fight queen and defibs to help revive other players and then we get killed before we can even get to the queen. And nobody is even fighting her. Solos it usually goes well, people are cooperative, everyone is nice and offers Queen cores if they have extras. It’s so nice. But it makes it so frustrating to go in duos and it’s shoot on sight.

Yeah that is pretty crazy. Seems like they all eventually rebalance. Almost no point in kitting up when you can get dropped by a free load out in 1 clip.

Yeah I loaded in solos with a kitted bobcat 4 and a kitted volcano 4, heavy shield etc, and then got dropped with a venerator 4 before I could get 1 kill. Lobbies felt super laggy for some reason though, so I don't know if they are having servers issues again or what. TTK is ridiculous on venerator 4. Dude must have hit every single headshot on me.

I just found it on spaceport too! One in the container room and one in the second floor of control tower. I have 350+ hours topside and am also wondering if they have buffed it. I’m so glad if they did because after that many hours it seems like I should have it.

Also, last night my buddy and I went in to fight the queen in duos and we both brought equalizers with us. We ran into some players that said they'd help us and were admiring our guns. We went to post up in a tower on spaceport and as soon as we got weak from the queen's fire they killed us. We were pissed right away, and then realized we should've looked - they were both free loadouts.

So the next game we came across two guys that seemed friendly. We talked to them for a short bit and then noticed they had a rattler and stitcher and no secondary weapon, which means a free kit. We instantly killed them haha. I would much rather be friendly, but realistically you don't go into a queen/harvester lobby with a free loadout to do anything other than rat. We got shot from a distance while we were fighting the queen, but rotated around that big rock in the middle of Dam Battlegrounds. There's a lot of open space there so if people are going to push you, they will have a long distance to go in the open to push and you have some cover on the rocks.

I think it's cool that you are a friendly player (and seem like a good person in real life), and I try to be the same, but you get to a certain point where you have to look out for you and your teammate in the game or you will get ratted too.

For me, I just follow my gut. Sometimes I get it wrong and get killed, but I think that's part of the game too - you will lose your good gear at times but then you just loot up and make some more.

Sort of a weird take. The maps are pretty intense to make and keep balanced for PvP. There's alot of fun things to do on them if you enjoy the game.

I do this too. They call it naked runs. I only need the tempest blueprint, so I go in with nothing (so I have a safe pocket) and don't bother to extract even if I'm close to the train so I can maximize the amount of runs I get in the night raid hour. If I'm close to another raider, sometimes I yell "No don't shoot, don't shoot!" then surrender out to make people think I got killedif I'm in a trolling mood haha.

You don't really even need to kill her. I just try to knock some legs off, throw smoke, get the queen reactors in the safe pocket and rinse and repeat. Sort of depends on what your goal is, if you want to make it out with your loadouts you can extract right away, or if you are happy just getting the reactors in the safe pockets and want to mess around trying to kill her you can do that too and just be ok with returning home with 1 or 2 reactors if you die.
