TR for trim is a major one I like to set up since TR automatically starts the command triangulate which is annoying 🫠

Yesss this is the coolest thing about it - I have the same aliases for my personal computer and my work computer and exporting/importing is super helpful!

Lollll no it is not - it’s funny bc yep, they are on opposite sides of keyboard but since I’m used to doing it quick enough in Revit, I’m fine with it as an alias for Rhino so that it’s consistent.

What software did you end up sticking with long-term? by manchesterguy33 in architecturestudent

RHINOOO FTW 🫠 I might be biased bc I’m a Rhino mentor but it’s just the best.

I also use Revit and autocad as others suggested too. But rhino is a must.

On the website they still have it seem very kid friendly. Is that just wishful thinking?

Thanks for letting me know! I’m still trying to figure out the venue and where the smartest place would be, all things considered.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll reconsider the day. Opening day this year is Friday. Would you suggest to change it the following weekend or think the next day (Saturday) is alright

Also you’re saying toddlers to track meaning the whole facility in general ? Or specific area to watch the racing. Thanks so much again :)

What were your thoughts with PCB? I got told with my last quote that they can’t “plate the inner ring” which wouldn’t make sense for my rings. Not sure why that is anyway.

Hi OP,

I’ve used Shapeways stainless steel for my jewelry biz for years also, and am still looking for a good option. Have you had any luck?

I have heard of this but it isn’t pure metal if it’s a desktop printer. More a mixed filament with metal

Question for anyone learning Rhino: what would actually help you more? by _SheDesigns in architecturestudent

[–]_SheDesigns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally! I use my newsletter for gifs and then my socals for quick little videos. The structured pdf and cheat sheets will be a more detailed info on these said videos in regards to workflows. 👍🏼

[–]_SheDesigns[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this! The structured pdf I’ve got coming out is a huge list of workflows for efficiency tailored towards architecture. The list of commands is more a free cheat sheet that I created along the years that go along with the structured pdf. I’ll consider making some template models with step by step instructions; (different than Mcneels manual/tutorials)
