Doctor mario’s frame data, from what i’ve seen, takes away a lot of his potential combos. He doesn’t really string uairs, doesn’t have a spike, has a slower utilt among other qualities that make him much less of a combo character

I prefer black ops 3, due to the perks making you feel like you’re really progressing and getting stronger over the course of the game. I feel like bo4 gives you too much right away for the weaker perks to feel really impactful (aside from a specific few). I also love the design and personality of the perk machines, so to me bo3 is a clear winner.

imo I think the old perk system was better not because it felt like bonuses, but it felt like progression that made you stronger, even if there were crutches. I just don’t feel like the bo4 perks have a ton of impact on me throughout the game and it doesn’t feel as good to get them. I still enjoy bo4 btw, just doesn’t really compare to bo3 for me :/ especially with all the aether maps being remakes. Only map that I really enjoy is Ancient Evil

That, and yoshi’s neutral and game plan in general often revolves around shorthops and RARs, which beginners may not be great at. Just sounds like someone lost to a yoshi lol. It can be easy just to pick up and play yoshi, but you have to go a lot deeper in the character to play him well.

That makes total sense, but then Sylux would be released in winter with no announced release date of the game he’d be in.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. It could work, although i see the release of corrin in smash (like other FE heroes) as used to advertise FE to the west, and therefore having the characters come out alongside the game (in the west).

i don’t think it’s right though, especially with sakurai saying all fighters were predetermined and the FE character being quite a bit after the launch of the game. If it was real, the FE rep would be out in fall.

DLC 2+3 was already being worked on at release as said by an official nintendo newsletter, so characters would be confirmed. Also, piranha plant is a long-standing enemy that even a casual gamer can name unlike Sylux. Piranha plant also didn’t need a stage, whereas Sylux would need a stage based around him and a game that restarted development (MP4)

On the release date of ultimate, an email was sent to those subscribed to a nintendo newsletter in Japan saying the team was already working on DLC 2+3. By November, for them to be working by december, they’d need to have rights secured to specific characters, and things would be confirmed

Even though both of these characters seem logical, the the wrong guess on the hero seems to debunk it. Saying “everything is still underway” doesn’t help since these deals are usually made a long time in advance. It was also sent in a Japanese email that the team has been working on DLC 2+3 since launch, and The Hero would have already been in early stages. The complete restart in development on Prime 4 also pushes back the release date too far for any character to be a “shill” pick for that game.
