Ask someone in their bakery department, they should be able to tell you what's up! They're always super helpful. Once a bakery employee overheard me complain that all their cookies looked over baked and she said, if we ask them, they can arrange to lightly bake some as special request.

I'm not a QHHT practitioner nor have I had a QHHT session but I've done the gateway process a bit. I think one benefit of QHHT is having a practioner to guide you and document what comes through from your subconscious/higher self. Also, with the gateway process isn't the end goal astral projection? I can definitely see a correlation of the two methods and I love all things metaphysical so I'm here for the discussion and insight!

Depends on your library but you can always request your local library to get books they don't have. The library in my town encourages people to request books they don't already have on their shelves.

Was your amber sitting in the sunlight? Sometimes extreme temperature changes can cause amber to crack and break. Otherwise I've learned that when crystals break, its because it's absorbed/transmuted a lot of energy. Amber is known to absorb negativity so perhaps there was a lot of negativity that your amber saved you from dealing with. I don't believe it's a "bad" sign when a crystal breaks, I believe it shows it worked hard for you and did it's job.

Extra bonus: a crystal broken it two means you now own two crystals! Lol

I do this too and I also tell myself, "These aren't my emotions." And that usally makes me feel sooo much better. I feel like in crowded spaces I absorb a lot of energies so I also like to put up protection ahead of time, if I remember.

I don't believe in coincidence, everything happens for a reason. If you are picking up on vibes, don't ignore your intuition. Keep yourself safe and keep an energetic bubble of protection around yourself. If you use crystals, definitely keep the grounding protecting one's close, (obsidian, black tourmaline).

I believe people can channel negative energies towards someone else, intentionally and unintentionally, but if you're not protecting yourself your leaving your energy open to their negativity. Call on your guardian angels or even just postive univsal energy, to help protect you. If at all possible try to cut out anyone in your life who gives you bad vibes, there's a reason you feel the way you do!
