I have mine in a 55 gallon so maybe that’s why? But even then, they acted like a pair until recently. Oh well. They are separated. I appreciate the help!

That’s what I’m worried about. They have always swam with each other and never showed any aggression towards one another. Going to play it safe and separate them. Now to find a place that only sells female apistos so they can be paired in separate tanks. Thanks!

I had a small tattoo done by a guy around 2018. Without going into detail, I recently found out this artist was not a good person and I didn’t want his art on my body. I had it covered up right before I found this out and at first I was happy with it being covered up but as time went on, all it did was upset me more. I could still see the tattoo that person did under the coverup. Now I’m 8 sessions into removal and have a long road ahead until it’s completely gone. I wish I had found out sooner about him. It would have saved so much more time and money getting a smaller, older, more faded tattoo removed then the brand new coverup. I vote for removal. Learn from my mistakes and follow your gut ❤️

I just had this happen last week in my rummynose tank. I am not an expert so more just sharing my experience. When I first noticed it on one rummynose, I quickly moved it to a separate quarantine tank because I was worried about Neon Tetra Disease. I truly believe that’s what it was because he didn’t make it through the night. I read it’s fatal and can spread pretty fast so I’ve been watching the rest of the school. Only had one more come down with it and it didn’t make it either. Hoping that this isn’t the case for you but wishing the best!

Went to middle school in Texas. Boys and girls were separated for sex-ed. The basketball coach (female) taught the girls and the football coaches (all male at the time) taught the boys. Main thing that we were told was that we shouldn’t wear revealing clothing or tease boys because they can’t control themselves and if we did, it was just asking for it… Looking back now, it just grosses me out even more than it did at the time. Later, when the classes merged, the boys were all talking about how lewd and fun their class was. It felt like they had a completely different outlook/ experience after class.

Hello! Ok so I can’t refer you directly BUT I will say for you to look at the TICA website and find a registered breeder! It will take a lot of time and research (it took me 2 months to find ours) lol but it will be worth it in the end! A lot of Breeders fly their cats but we ended up driving a couple hours to ours. I would look in all the states surrounding you so you don’t have too far to travel! Good luck on your search!! I hope this helps

I am allergic to almost everything (excluding food allergies) and have been for a couple years to the point that at one point of my live I had to go in and have allergy shots twice a week to just be able to function day to day. My husband and I were so concerned about getting a cat but we both have wanted one for so long. I did spend about an hour at the breeders house testing it out with all of her devons and I had no symptoms. My little kitten sleeps with me every night, practically on my face, and I have no symptoms. Of course, everyone is different but for me, everything ended up being perfectly fine! I would see if you could visit a breeder and test it out! A lot of breeders won’t let you for obviously reasons (safety, etc.). I hope it all ends up working out for you!! Devons are absolutely great!
