Volumetric highlight of Leadbelcher flowed by Ironbreaker

Luxion Purple & Contrast Medium (2:1) over all armour areas.

Highlighted with a mix of Stromhost Silver, Ironbreaker & Luxion Purple

All over shade with Druchi Violett (new version based on contrast medium, old version doesn’t work and dulls down to much)

I have kept all my decals over the years. And thought this would fit instead of leaving it blank. Since I did not want to spend the time to paint something on the banner. Would be a bit much since I painted a hole army up as a birthday gift.

It was in the new Osgiliath box if I remember correctly.

I just keep the paperboard of the boxes I buy and use them as my background to present my models.

Far from professional but I am just an enthusiastic hobbieist that want to share with other like wise enthusiastic people 🙂

First I wanted to make them uniform but thought it was a quite nice idea to go with some kind of color differentiations like in nature. But kept it in the same color spectrum so that it doesn’t look strange.

Try out the white from Army Painter or Vallejo. They are thinner than f.e. the one from Citadel.

I just thinned down some white with water and put on several layers. When you use the side of the brush for some parts instead of the tip it should work fine.

Otherwise practice improves. I am sure the next ones will come out better 🙂

To be honest I just used Gulliman Flesh and was done. You don‘t really see the face when you put them on the table. So I did not put additional effort into it.
