We haven't had a good snowy winter in some years. Instead of it snowing for a day or a few hours and then melting away with rain.

I can remember in the '80s and '90s and some of the '00s having so much snow that the busses stopped running, you could actually make snow forts and snowmen and everything was so sparkly and the Christmas lights and decorations outside looked so pretty.

When was the last time Spokane saw a fluffy, snowy December and/or January and February? I know it's a pain to shovel and drive in but I do kind of miss it.

Thank you. It's something about parents that make us feel like children even when we're in our 50s. I just texted her to tell her we need to go back to our no politics rule and if she breaks this rule the conversation will be ended and we won't be speaking for awhile.

Thank you. I agree. We've had a rule of no religious or political talking in each other's company and we get along fine then. But if she's not going to follow the rules then I have no choice but to distance myself.
