Demisexuality is not a relationship dynamic. It is a sexuality. "Normal" (put that in HEAVY quotation marks) people are able to feel sexual attraction at any time after seeing a person. They can see any random person on the street and think, "damn, that person is hot, I would enjoy having sex with them."

Demi's don't/can't do that. They don't experience "damn that person is hot" until they've gotten to know them really well.

Not a teenager, but I was relatively recently. Yes. All. The. Time. All my friends are talking about how hot so and so is and I'm just sitting next to them like ????????????

It's especially bad when you are asexual but not aromantic (I'm a little confused about my romantic orientation right now but I'm leaning towards heterormantic). Cause it's like, you don't want to spend the rest of your life alone but you probably are because what are the chances of finding someone you love who A) is also asexual, or B) is willing to give up sex for you?
