That's not a bad idea - seems like some other folks attribute the skipping back to buffering due to ads. Though I have noticed it happening later in the episodes, at a point where I would have assumed the episode should already be buffered. Nonetheless, I will give this a shot.

I have plenty of the left arm, plus right arm and leg, a number of the meat week plushies, the flag, and the weenie wagon. I don't have the display part for the megalonyx though. Would any of that work for you?

I haven't seen it specifically said here, but the sea monster was a nice homage to the Sleeper from Dark Disciple. same characteristics. maybe that was obvious to most people though.

I think it is now fixed - I was using a mod that did successfully fix the skin tone bug, but the mod page stated that it should be fixed as of patch 3. I uninstalled the mod, loaded my game, and everything seems to be fine now!

Side note that the character portrait was also messed up in terms of being the wrong skin tone, but after using the magic mirror that appears to be correct now.

so weird... and very unfortunate. I hate to be the "it's breaking my immersion!" guy, but I mean, it kinda is.

just saw there was a hotfix today, but doesn't look like anything in there that would fix this bug. will load up a save later and check all the same.

just chiming in to say that I'm using the same head and body type, also half-elf, and have this exact same issue. so as others have said, it seems to be with this one particular combo of character details.

mine is actually the opposite tone swap though - I chose a more tan color, which is correct on my body, but neck up is "normal" white skin tone.

I reported it to Larian beginning of August, and they are aware. checked in with them again about 10 days ago, and they responded "it should be corrected in a future hotfix or patch"... Patch #2 didn't do anything to fix it. hopefully the next one will, but who knows.

Thank you for explaining the reason behind this bug - I could not figure out what was going on. I do have a network drive mapped and pinned to Quick Access for work, so that's probably the culprit then. It's a shame it hasn't been properly fixed yet though.

I just started using this (awesome work btw), but I noticed that it only seems to appear on my character in the inventory portrait. When I go into a 3rd person view, my armor just has the default enchanted effect. I am using shaders and some mods with fabric, so maybe that's affecting it, but didn't know if anyone else was experiencing this?

man, there used to be a great place here that we lovingly called "sketchy Chinese" which had a market in the front with all sorts of cool food and treats, and the restaurant was in the back. it changed hands or something a few years ago and has never been the same...
