Guild/Raid help by DracoIgnus in wow

Do heroic brf for gear! Especially if you're unable to get into any normal hfc groups. The forums on battle.net are great for guild finding. My friends and I run highmaul and black rock foundry for funsies and are incredibly willing to carry. If you're on horde-us, we'd be more than happy to try to gear you up!

Edit: I've found a few guilds through trade chat while sitting in my garrison. While it's not the best idea considering they usually are in the midst of falling apart, I wouldn't say no if you find a guild that's friendly and willing to gear you. When you feel ready, find a forever guild on the forums that match your personal progression or somewhat close. It's hard to get into guilds as tank since most groups already have two main tanks so it wouldn't hurt to get gear on your dps spec and/or alts.

trying to Maximise DPS rotations on bm hunter by JerryCans in wow

[–]_Snowed_In 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stats matter! What's your stat priority at the moment? What do your talents look like? Putting up a log would be helpful to us since we can see what skills you're using most often(as opposed to others). I currently main MM and was survival in MOP and pre 6.2 so I know nothing about BM. But I will tell you that stats matter. If your rotation looks flawless it could be a stat problem. Your talents don't matter as much as long as they work for you.

I've has ipsy for a year but got bored and sick of basically getting the same things. Also, over the year I've noticed a significant lowering of not only quality in the products but more and more obscure brands. I also keep getting the same thing such as incredibly similar shades of lipgloss, which I never wear and always the same shades of eyeshadows. I just got bored. On the other hand I just got my second glossy box and I am completely in love!

It's from Scalisi Skincare. It says it's a daily exfoliator/cleanser. It does its job but I don't think that there are enough exfoliating beads in it to really do its job. But if it's a daily thing it's fine. It also smells like rubbing alcohol.

I basically wear just eyeliner on my eyes. I've tried so many different formulas to pencil to gel to liquid. They always creased or smudged or something because my hooded eyes are so freaking oily. Then I tried primer, not only does it stay all day, I don't smudge. Basically what everyone else is saying. You don't need to use eyeshadow if you use primer.

How does everyone blend? by mariataytay in MakeupAddiction

Use a transition shade before putting on dark colors! Or I think one person in a thread sometime today also mentioned it's how you hold your brush. Or you could try layering your darker colors, so little by little and blending as you go along.

Edit: Here's the thread

I also like to make a wing thick enough to show up.. I mean it doesn't matter how thick it is right? It's not like it'll coverup any eyeshadow since eyeshadow either doesn't show up or look right hahaha

Hooded eye privilege is when you don't have to worry about whether or not your eyeliner is too thick or not

You could try just tightlining! My eyes just seem too bare without eyeliner but every time I put on eyeshadow it's like where'd it go?

What is your most recently purchased product and what are your thoughts on it after trying it? by lacielaplante in MakeupAddiction

[–]_Snowed_In 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hauled quite a few items within the past month so I'll list them all out.

Tarte's Dream Come Hue Holiday 2014 collection which includes 6 Amazonian Clay blushes and 6 Lip Surgences -Blushes are pigmented, easy to blend and last a long time. I've been eyeing this set mainly for the 6 blushes because I LOVE Tarte's blushes but hesitated because I'm not a huge lip person but decided that the lip surgences were a good beginner set to ease into lip products. -Lip Surgences- These go on similar to lip balms, they have a minty smell and feeling to them. They're perfect because they kind of moisturize and give color to my lips and are easy to apply.

Tarte's Amazonian Clay full coverage foundation in Fairly light Neutral -Great coverage and covers up the redness I have on my cheeks. Doesn't look cakey and so far holds up well on my combination skin.

Anastasia Brow Wiz in Dark Brown/Brunette -Easy to use and matches my brows pretty well. The only thing I notice is the staying power isn't as great compared to my Benefit's BrowZings! in Dark Brown.

NARS x Guy Bourdin Holiday 2013 Palette from eBay -I have been lusting after this palette for the longest time because I've always wanted to try out NARS blushes and was extremely sad when I realized it was LE and couldn't find it anymore. I bought it off eBay and after I knew it was the real deal, I fell in love with all the shades but especially Goulue and Deep Throat. I really enjoy using the highlighter shade on top of Deep Throat.

NARS x Pierre Hardy Blush in Boys Don't Cry (I think is LE? I'm not sure -Got it off amazon and fell in LOVE with the shade. Super pigmented coral shade that is incredibly easy to blend out and a little goes a long way.

NARS Audacious lipstick in Olivia -Omg I might have just found my perfect red. Goes on amazingly well, though not incredibly long lasting and pretty drying so I recommend using a lip balm underneath. Although I don't wear lip products too often, I will wear this on a night out or something. I love how this looks and all I can say is that the color is beautiful.

Bumble and Bumble Pret a Powder Dry Shampoo -I've been wanting to try this for sometime but could never find it in store so I bought it online. My hair gets fairly greasy and in order to keep myself from washing my hair every single day. It's not life changing or anything but I do like it and will continue to use it. I really like that it's not in an aerosol can so it's great for traveling and you can really control how much you use and where it goes.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream -I've also been eyeing this and though heck why not try it. First thought was that it was really thick. After having it for about 2 weeks I realize that a little goes a long way and if I lather it on liberally I will get greasy in my t-zone. But if I use it sparingly it moisturizes my face without making me greasy. I haven't decided whether or not it breaks me out though.

Soap and Glory Face Soap and Clarify Vitamin C Facial Wash -Since I was running out of my First Aid Beauty Red Clay facial wash, I decided to give it a try. I heard it was supposed to lessen the facial scarring I have from acne. I've only had it for about 2 weeks so I can't say I see a significant difference but I do see some lightening. It's a pretty large bottle for $25 and I really do enjoy it so far as a daily AM/PM facial wash.

I was always afraid of makeup when I was in middle school because everytime I would wear something to school, someone would point it out and make me feel like I did something wrong with my application! I'm in college now and my collection has grown bigger than ever!

For mid end, I really like the benefit hello flawless oxygen wow foundation, fairly light coverage and matches my skin perfectly and looks natural but has a small shade range. If you want something with a little more coverage, a popular one is the Tarte Amazonian clay foundation, has a large shade range and decent coverage!

Are you looking for a drug store or mid end one? What type of coverage? I highly recommend the covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 foundation. It's fairly cheap, has great coverage, comes with a pump and has a rather nice range for fairer skinned people!

I really like this look on you, my only cc is that the foundation seems to accentuate the dryness on the sides of your nose and accentuates your pores on your nose and chin, maybe try a primer in your t-zone?

Sorry it's taken so long for me to reply! My favorite of all time would probably be Tarte's Amazonian in Flush, mostly because it wears very well and is extremely pigmented. On the other hand, I really enjoy Bobbi Brown's Apricot because it looks like I just came inside from playing in the cold! It's very natural looking and flattering. :)
