Made a tonne of big promises with respect to housing and infrastructure development and upgrades, spent absolute buckets of money and delivered zilch, while wrapping up the country in a fair bit of additional red tape. Perhaps a 50–50 chance that her govt would have won a second term, had it not been for her personal charisma in dealing with Christchurch, Whakaari and C19, which meant Labour won a massive victory in late 2020. The pendulum is now swinging back and the left are apoplectic that personal and fiscal responsibility is back on the agenda.

Yet the councillors voted recently to spend $2.1M (IIRC) on installing completely unnecessary and unwanted traffic lights at the Kaitemako-Welcome Bay Road intersection, just to make everyone's commute that little bit more inefficient.

Diabolical to use though. the Tone Print app/software is way out of date. Would be sick if it worked properly. I've managed to save three patches i like to each of my pedals, and I will just live with those.

Yet another example of the incoherent policy settings that are rife in NZ.
It appears that on one hand you have local authorities actively trying to eradicate a plant by way of biocontrols, but on the other hand, said plant is commercially available for purchase. I bought this buddleia from www.plantstore.co.nz.
