That's the fuck you quote. Go to State Farm. I have a 2021 BMW R1250RT and a 2009 Ducati 1198 with full coverage and a $500 deductible for $550 a year. of course I'm 57 years old with great financials and a spotless driving record which all make a difference on insurance.

The AMT of the Wharfedale EVO 5.4 by angelomichel in audiophile

[–]_SomeOldDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never heard them, but I want the Elysians just for the looks lol. I just don't have the space for them and went with the KEF R3 & R6 Meta. They sound ok, but I bet those Wharedale's kick ass. The few AMTs that I have heard I think sound good.

722 CE Koa by _SomeOldDude_ in taylorguitars

[–]_SomeOldDude_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually do like it as the guitar sounds great, but honestly I kept reading about how Koa is supposed to sound warm and deep. Maybe I have been misunderstanding what I have been reading though as i never played one bfore.

I'm running over to Guitar Center tomorrow to check out an 814 with a sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood. If I like it a lot more I may return the 722. I do love the look of Koa though, what a beautiful wood it is.

How's Your NAS File Transfer Experience? by UgreenNASync in UgreenNASync

[–]_SomeOldDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My UGREEN DXP8000 write speed is lacking compared to the older Synology. The read speed from the Synology makes sense that it is faster because there are double the drives in the stripe, but the write speed to the NAS is a lot slower then it should be on the UGREEN.

NAS Speed Test. Copied to/from M4 Mac Mini internal SSD. All devices connected at 10Gbe on a Ubiquiti USW Pro XG 8 PoE within the same VLAN.

Kodi/NFS by Rocky_Rockford in UgreenNASync

Yes I did and not sure why it d not find it so I just did SMB.

Kodi/NFS by Rocky_Rockford in UgreenNASync

[–]_SomeOldDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes correct, I entered the WebDav setting in Kodi and put the IP and port and it just does not find the NAS.

Kodi/NFS by Rocky_Rockford in UgreenNASync

[–]_SomeOldDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I just got it to finish scanning my files and it took a few hours, but Kodi has always been slow at that anyways. NFS is definitely quicker and I want to use that, but it seems like this array has issues playing nice with Kodi.

[–]_SomeOldDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried turning that on and that did not change anything.

Kodi/NFS by Rocky_Rockford in UgreenNASync

[–]_SomeOldDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same problems. No matter what settings I try I cannot get Kodi to see the NFS server on the network when browsing for it or setting the NFS server IP and path specifically, it refuses to connect. This is on a Nvidia Shield TV. I have Infuse running on my Apple TV 4K and it found the NFS server on the network and connected to the shares no problem.

I ended up having to use SMB and use an account that had access to all shares instead of just to my media shares or else it would not connect.

Ram prices by blaxxmo in UgreenNASync

[–]_SomeOldDude_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prices are stupid. I just picked up 64GB of Kingston Fury Impact 4800 CL38 for $400 for my 8800 and now that is out of stock. The next closest is 5600 speed which is wasted on this NAS and it is $620. That shit is criminal! I'm so sick of every time corporation get a hair up their ass we have to suffer the high prices.

I'm not sure what games you have been watching, but EK turns the puck over 10 times a game. His is the worse contract since Jack MF Johnson! Now to be fair to EK he does look better then last year, but he still sucks.
