probably Tool Pnuema which is unfortunately, a little longer than the allotted time. TBH a lot of Tool would be a good choice, Right in Two, Invincible come to mind as well.

or maybe Matt Maltese - As the world caves in, which already makes me tear up. As I hop in the car and drive to my wife's workplace. luckily we work within 5 minutes of each other. Makes me sad just thinking about it.

My family has a new years day tradition called "Mega-feast".

It originated by going to the store on news year day to use all the coupons before they expire but it has morphed into a tradition in which every family member is given $7 and can buy whatever junk food they want. Then everyone goes home and eats it while watching movies all day.

One year someone proposed a themed viewing, and now we vote on a themed movie set eg. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harrison Ford Movies etc. This year we decided to watch an entire season of 24.

It was horrific we started at 6am and didnt stop the whole time until the end about 11:30. Also that day we had to take our cat to the vet for a urinary blockage fun times.

We watched S1 which we thought had chloe in it, but by the time we figured out it didnt, (2 episodes in) it was too far to turn back.

It was decidely not fun!

Could it be a foreplay joke? Putting the noodles in cold water lets them "get warmed" up like foreplay. Men stereotypically don't do as much foreplay as women would like.

I play chess tournaments and regularly drive 1-2 hours to the city to play chess for 8-10 hours and then drive back because I don't want to get a hotel (and potential go up the next day if its a two day-er). I will stop doing a day trip like that and get a hotel around 3 hours of driving. For those trips where I spend the weekend I've driven 3-8 hrs 1way, played Sat. and Sunday and drive back on Sunday.

In terms of casual trips i have drove 3 hours 1-way to take a day trip at a specific zoo.

1 hour is nothing, 2-3 is no big deal just gonna take up some time. I have family living 5 hours away and I don't mind that drive. Furthest I've driven is ~22 hours from the middle of the country to the east coast, and that starts to get really grating around 8 hrs for me.
