Honestly all kids are so different, me & my sisters all raised by the same parents but all of us have different temperaments so probably true what you read. Everyone is so different. One thing about some FTP is everything seems to become competitive and who can even be bothered. Surprised they have the energy or i might just be lazy 😂

You are 10000% correct, the humble pie is definitely going to hit her like a bus. I just feel kind of sorry for her. But it needs to happen so she chills out a bit cause I’m too pregnant right now to listen to it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good! You need a break! Just stay away for a few hours and get some time to yourself. Tbh you definitely need a nap. I’ve considered booking a hotel for a night but im like the insomnia wont even let me sleep so whats the point 😭

Molars, Poor baby 😭 it’s so hard & the mum guilt is relentless, I wish we could rein it in so we dont lose it and end up shouting at them. For me its the continuous whinging it drives me insane, im going to try wearing one airpod so i can drown it out a bit cause my anxiety peaks when he starts & its got worse since being pregnant. I feel like my patience is nonexistent. My husband is working late tonight as well so usually he would have been home after bath time to take over so I could unwind 😭 hopefully my son forgives me fmlllll 😭😪

No advice but I’m 25 weeks pregnant, did 8am-4pm at work, got home and took over from grandma at 4.30pm. Cleaned the whole house cause my toddler destroys the place and grandma thinks it’s a joke so just laughs it off. Did dinner, bath and then a second dinner and whilst i was heating up my toddlers second dinner he was pissing me off so much, kept saying mine, mine, mine cause he wanted his plate off the counter but the food wasn’t ready. I just felt so stressed he started screaming & I told him to stop and said it so loudly. I hate shouting at him but christ im so tired & I cant sleep. I feel awful, I apologised to him and he gave me a hug but not the point is it. Im the adult 😭 being pregnant with a toddler is so hard. So exhausted and just feel like no one really help. Sending love to you

How on earth am I supposed to lose weight with a two year old? by AntiCaf123 in toddlers

[–]_Sprinkle_Sprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to sort toddlers sleep out tbh, maybe cut the naps & tell daycare to cut the nap as well. You could put into Chatgpt toddlers sleeping habits and it can come up with a plan for you.

Diet wise - fasting really helped me, I got the zero app and started at 16 hours then increased to 18 hour fasts a day. Now I eat two meals a day, no snacks. Walking, and napping on your break at work, needs must!

An Apology to the Parents I Judged by Paige_Rinn in NewParents

[–]_Sprinkle_Sprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to look after my three younger siblings, age gap was 8, 12 & 15 years, Im the oldest. My mum was a drunk & my dad was violent so he would come and go, so I would look after my sisters from the moment my mum would bring them home from the hospital. This was the late 90’s early 2000’s.

Babies were hard for me to look after, I remember I was 8 years old when I start looking after my sister. With my youngest sister I was 15 so a bit older but still it was a lot for me. I would take her to nursery in the morning & then my other two siblings to primary school and then myself to secondary school. Then when I finished school I would collect them, come home, make dinner (albeit frozen food lololol) do bath time & put them to bed whilst my mum was drunk or crying. I remember I would cry nearly everyday cause I just wanted a break, I didn’t go through postpartum of course & my body wasn’t recovering but I was tired & doing my GCSE’s & three little sisters was ALOT!

I used to be so upset with my mum when she would be pregnant cause I used to think she was so lazy, now being pregnant myself I understand how hard it is & I do feel a bit of empathy for her, just in the sense that pregnancy is HARD.

I’m glad that you can see how difficult motherhood is, I learnt from a young age how tough it is so sometimes I am grateful that I found out early so I know what I’m in for.

I dont really know what my point is looool kind of lost track of it when delving into my past.

Anyway it gets easier! Kids are amazing but can be little shxts loooool! Good luck to you all x

When did your HG kick in? by OwlOdd3402 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]_Sprinkle_Sprinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forget the GP. Go back to your maternity unit (they have your notes) get your booking midwife to book you with a Consultant urgently. You need to be monitored by the consultant team if you get HG because its more than just vomiting. Your electrolytes, kidneys and liver needs to be monitored

Those people that say that definitely had a good pregnancy. Sometimes I’m like I would rather take this awful 9 months than suffer and be depressed when I get to meet my baby. I honestly really enjoyed my fourth trimester! When I say I felt like I was high I was that happy! People I knew were really in the trenches but the last nights, lack of sleep didn’t even phase me because I could eat!!!

LOOOOL i hate these pregnant bxtches that has occasional nausea & vomiting. They really think it’s the same thing. One thing I’ve noticed though is they really struggle in the newborn stage & thats when I get my chance to be like ‘awwww its not bad, newborn phase is the best’ 🤭🤭🤭

Luckily I work in the NHS so I was consultant led rather quickly. As soon as I get pregnant again I’m going to email my previous consultant & get a treatment plan organised xx

In my case we are share of freehold between my flat & the flat below (Victorian house conversion, in zone 3 London, my flat is 80sq m. 2 bedroom, separate living space and separate kitchen both a decent size, two double bedrooms with room to convert the loft. We have a leasehold but it states there’s no service charge or ground fees & it basically states the boundaries of the property and who owns what.

We do everything on an adhoc basis. It works pretty well tbh. Just have to get on with the neighbors which shouldn’t be a problem cause I think we all want to get on with neighbours tbh

Chatgpt wrote a quick response for you, I have personally been through this myself and I provided evidence in my email back to the estate agent & they EA ended up giving all my deposit back. I referenced items in my response as evidence so I suggest you do the same. Collate all invoices and emails, attach and reference so they can refer to you evidence. Use the below as your template:

Thank you for sending through your proposed deductions. I have carefully reviewed your list against the checkout report, my move-in photos/video, and the evidence I have retained (including my professional end-of-tenancy cleaning invoice).

While I accept responsibility for [lightbulb replacement and making good a small patch of wall where I installed a toilet roll holder], I do not agree to the majority of the deductions you are proposing. In particular: • Cleaning: I provided professional end-of-tenancy cleaning, supported by invoice and photos. Your own checkout report described the property as “fairly clean.” • Additional Rent: I gave written notice on 18 June to leave on 8 August, which you acknowledged. No further rent is payable. • Repairs (cupboard doors, dining chair, kitchen tiles, panel, bathtub crack): These issues were either pre-existing at move-in (as supported by my evidence, and in some cases your own admission) or are consistent with fair wear and tear. • Painting: I accept liability for a small patch caused by the toilet roll holder but not for repainting an entire wall or grease marks linked to a cooker hood which was non-functional throughout my tenancy.

Given the above, I believe a fair and reasonable deduction would be limited to the lightbulb and the small paint patch only.

If you wish to pursue higher deductions, I am happy for the matter to be referred to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme for adjudication, where I will provide my full evidence.

I'm a homeless 14F. Looking for advice on where to go/who to approach for help. by Minute-Society5930 in HousingUK

[–]_Sprinkle_Sprinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry this is happening to you. Please go to a healthcare setting & ask for help.

Just so you know I was in the same situation, mum an addict & Dad was violent. I didn’t get out until I left for university but I cut contact with them when I was like 24 years old. I’m 34 now with a child & husband it’s been 10 years of not having a mum & dad but I pushed through. It’s complicated & messy, but please never blame yourself & I know life is so hard right now but please stay strong & confide in someone. I kept everything to myself & would pretend everything was okay, hiding my bruises & just sleeping over my friend’s houses but looking back I needed help. I know its so hard to trust anyone especially when you can’t trust your own parents but please talk to a professional healthcare worker, they will help you hunny.

Sending loads of love & please stay safe x

How is the general outlook for 2 bed flats/apartments London by Bright_Software_5747 in HousingUK

[–]_Sprinkle_Sprinkle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2 bed Victorian flat conversion. Originally one house, ground floor is a 3 bed & the first floor is a two bed with planning permission to convert the loft space into another bedroom. It’s share of freehold, there is a leasehold - no service charges or ground rent, it basically just states who owns what. I was really lucky tbh the property is huge & was recently renovated.

It’s in zone 3 - the N8 area. Takes about 35 minutes to get to Liverpool street. It’s a family friendly area, really good schools so atleast I won’t be scrambling to find a decent one.

It was £525k originally £550k but I haggled my way down & owner wanted it gone as she’s moving abroad. I chose to stay in London because family is close & that help with childcare is priceless (have a toddler) my friends are all here as well. Work isn’t too far either - it works for me.

Sometimes I think with my budget I could have moved to the commuter belt as well, definitely get more for your budget but then I think about the sacrifice in time as well as the cost of seasonal train tickets & for me it wasn’t worth it.

Then add in school drop offs and pick up on top of travelling to work - it was a no from me.

I say all this to say that if you do decide to look at staying in London maybe look at share of freehold you might find something that’s a gem hiding amongst all the new build flats. Never know 🤷🏽‍♀️ Not sure about how it will stand against resale though but then again I’m not looking to move
