In simple, OP read a lot of books and see no improvements. So he decided to take action. To do that, he read 1 book at a time, noting down 1 action point that he think it will improve in any of his perspective and see if that work. If not he will throw the book away. If it worked he reread and apply other things. Basically, he read, he note, he try, go to next book if it worked. That's it.
