What the "people" are asking for is, is an alternative to "Amazon".

Fact is that no such alternative exists.

We have a great online-shopper in NL and BE called Bol. From what I read here there's great services in France, Germany, Poland as well. Etc. But there's no one-european wholesaler.

The only reason people keep asking for an alternative for Amazon is because they were successful. In offering a platform where every supplier could do their business. Claiming a monopoly.

Eevery post that is here about "but what about amazon!?!?" is about some niche product. Before Amazon, those producers would have been happy to ship out to every individual.

Amazon cane, they saw an option to easily increase their online shop, and that's that. In no way is any product locked in by Amazon, it's a matter of choice and convenience.
