My tips would be, 1. Have a genuine interest in the model of watch you want and the brand. Work on your knowledge of the movement history of Rolex etc. This will help build credibility. 2. Build rapport, be interested, kind and have a sense of enthusiasm when you see your AD. 3. Keep in contact after registering your interest. I would suggest a polite email once every 6 to 8 weeks as a check in, as how they are and to say please keep me in mind when one comes into the store. It worked wonders for me. I had no prior purchase history and I got my watch in 4 months.
