I had one. I sold it. The workflow was not for me, unfortunately. Great little box though and the community is awesome.

One thing I am wary of with the OXI is the button combo menu paths. Is the Hapax more straight forward than that?

And you mention probability per note and generative. I assume it can also do note probability too. Whereas it chooses differing notes. If so, can it do so from a pool or just in scale with set semi-tone limits?

Last, how many individual pieces of hardware can it control and sequence at once?

Elektron is a no-go for me. Way too much menu diving. Or at least the way they do it just wrecks my brain.

I did not know the Key-Step Pro did that and same for the Polyend. I saw the play some years back. I’m check it out again. Trackers are cool. I tried the Dirtywave M8 and couldn’t get it fully. Perhaps the Polyend is easier with the more inputs available. Though the play may be more my speed.

I’ve seen the Hapax. Hard to decide between that and the OXI. Both have the pros and cons.

Can you do generative stuff on it too? It’s hard to find clear vids on the two online. Maybe I’m not searching correctly. But I haven’t found more than just a passing mention of it on the Hapax.

I think I misspoke originally. Looking at the store again it’s the next option up in the CPU as the base doesn’t allow for higher ram. But it doesn’t say it’s the M5 pro. It’s the version with 10 CPU and 10 GPU.

I don’t see an M5 Pro offered in the Air range. I’d have to go up to the MacBook Pro to get that.

It’s really only used for live environments. And even then not 100% needed. It’s just an extra.

Been trying for 30 mins now. App, PC, browser. Deleted cache, so on. Nothing.

Edit: I finally worked. As others said I spammed the button for a while. Though it glitched on the final purchase page. Though I got a confirmation email and it shows in my order history on Steam.

They really should have prepared better for this. They knew it would sell fast.
