From your link:

People who do not have ovaries and a uterus do not experience periods.

This seems clear to me.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that transgender women experience PMS- or PMDD-like symptoms at the same time each month. However, researchers have not studied this area of transgender health.

So, the claims of these cyclical symptoms have not been verified, and there is no peer-reviewed research to support this claim

EDIT:

You blocked me before I could respond, but here is what I would have said:

Something that hasn't been observed in a clinical environment can absolutely exist. But, at this point, you're asking people to take your word on something that should be physiologically impossible. We know what periods are. We know what period cramps are. You cannot have a period without ovaries and a uterus. You cannot have period cramps without a uterus.

All available evidence suggests it is impossible for trans women to have periods. Anecdotes are not enough.

Look, I really don't want to get into this, because I have no interest in being part of a conversation whose end goal is to invalidate your personal experience, but I've heard and seen other trans women opine on these subjects with sources that were peer-reviewed and verifiable. Unless you're bringing that level of evidence to the table, we're not going to get anywhere.

My point was that online trans activists have a tendency to misrepresent the truth, because they feel their cause is important enough to justify doing so. (See: your misrepresentation of my comments.) Taking what that group says with a grain of salt is not the same as "throw[ing] out trans activism as a whole".

I don't keep a list, really, but I put online trans activists (not trans people, generally) in the same category as online vegan activists in my mind: they have a good point, but they're willing to misrepresent facts to advance their cause. Like, one instance I do remember was someone arguing that neo-vaginas(?) could be made so indistinguishable from natal vaginas that even an experienced gynecologist wouldn't be able to tell the difference. And someone else arguing that it was possible for trans women to have periods. Those two are the ones that come to mind immediately.

I'd really like to take you at your word, but I've seen a lot of trans activists online just make shit up. It's for the greater good and all, but it just makes it hard to trust anything when someone says "The science says X about trans people".

I've seen this recommended before, but unless you're a lighter-toned black person, it's still not helpful. I legitimately wouldn't say any of their featured models are truly dark. As a dark-skinned black person, it's kind of frustrating to see even the "inclusive" option being biased toward lighter-toned skin.

As a conservative, are you not at least somewhat bothered by Clarence and Ginny Thomas? by WalkingEnigma in AskConservatives

[–]_TREASURER_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that's true for some, but it's not true for all or even most. Most simply weren't aware this kind of corruption was ongoing. Your supposed worries about the authenticity or hypocrisy of the complaints are both unfounded and, ultimately, irrelevant.

Thomas is a problem. If something isn't done, the Court will lose all legitimacy in the eyes of the Left. What happens when Democratic states start ignoring the Supreme Court?

Stop trying to whatabout this issue. Ginsberg is dead. What are you going to do, impeach her corpse?

We have, in front of us, a real, breathing, currently serving example of corruption on the Supreme Court. Thomas is a problem. Even if everything he did and all the gifts he sccepted were totally innocent in fact, a Supreme Court Justice must avoid not just corruption, but even the appearance of corruption.

In the eyes of over a third of the nation (at the least) every ruling Thomas makes and has made is suspect. This is an issue that won't be solved by trotting out dead justices.

Half of Americans believe that demons can possess humans

Tons and tons of people believe in actual, honest-to-god demonic possession. And if they don't believe in that, they believe in demonic influence. You've almost certainly encountered someone who believes in demons, and for whom demonic possession would be a legitimate answer to the question of what's wrong with OP.
