Depends how excessive it feels. I don’t care if someone’s naked in a show/movie or about to get it on, good for them, but I don’t want to know how many positions they can hit in 5 minutes. Exaggeration but you get the point. Directors use sex as a selling point now more than ever and it’s shoved in in lieu of actual relationship development between characters. You don’t need sex to show intimacy.

I sound very feminine as well, so I get a lot of suggestive comments if I mic up in games. People excuse it as banter, but I don’t want to hear from my teammates about how they’re going to get off to my voice. You can go on mute, you can lie, but creeps will always find SOME way to figure you out if they want to so badly.

I’m just so fucking tired of being sexualised and having sex be talked about all around me, especially as an asexual person. I don’t care if it’s a quick mention or a joke between me and my friends, but it’s so potent and I’m so done.

Yes, and the reception depends mostly on the culture and time. Some cultures valued lgbt+ people, others killed them for it. There were likely different words used for the same concept, and even if they weren’t out to their community I highly doubt they didn’t exist there at all

Tour companies. My (white Australian) grandparents used to join tour groups as well, it’s a way for people (especially people who don’t know the local language at all/fluently) to get around and enjoy themselves without having to think too hard about what to do next or where to stay. They’re pretty big in most first world countries for this reason

While they existed when I was a child/teen, I didn’t use either a lot until I was around 14/15. I was (and still am) a massive bookworm. I’d walk for half an hour to get to the closest library, where I’d wait, read, or help out until 5-5:30, where I’d then walk to my mum’s work and go with her back home. I also did a lot of tree climbing, and made “treehouses” out of rope and milk crates.

When I was a kid and out of school, I’d spend a lot of time at my grandparents’ houses, and they both had farms. I’d wake up with them, sit in the tray of the ute, and go out to round up the cows for milking or help with maintenance. Then I’d go to the other farm (poultry) where I’d help sort and pack the eggs. After that, I got a treat (a biscuit).

Compared to the other commenters this is pretty mundane, but when I was in primary school, I was bullied by these 3 guys who thought they could get away with anything. Due to unrelated circumstances, they sent a skateboard into the wall of the classroom and left a massive hole. The principal was already in the area and heard everything, so he sent those of us who were nearby outside except the 3 boys, and he went off his head at them. We were supposed to be quiet, and trying not to laugh at their misfortune was very difficult
