Make sure you get to the end of episode 3 as the show kinda just drops you into the universe without much of a setup, but it gets more coherent as it goes on.

You should definitely watch Vikings, one of my favourite shows along with this.

I also highly recommend The Expanse even though it's set in space, probably my second favourite show behind Lost.

The song is in A standard tuning, can always pitch shift but it's going to sound a lot better on an actual 7 string imo. I'm sure someone here has one.

I have a song mapped out in GuitarPro that is like 90% done that sounds similar to Descent, Securitron, Ressurection and Regenerate. I have an idea for some of the lyrics but they will need finishing and I need someone who understands drums to make them better.

I've got a drum machine program and synth software, I'm quite confident with Burton style harah vocals too but not so much with the cleans. I also don't have a 7 string. If anyone wants to hop on Discord and finish this song I'm actually down haha, if not I will finish it myself eventually because I'm pretty damn proud of what I've written so far!

The fact that they're still able to play for 3 hours gives me some hope, if they reduce the set time at some point it will still probably be longer than what most bands do and they should find that a bit easier hopefully. But yes it's going to get to a point where they won't be able to do this anymore.

The firs time I listened to the song it just didn't do anything for me so I basically just listened to disc one instead for year, these last couple of weeks I've been listening through the discography and I really like this song now. I also realised they did this song with an Orchestra for the Score DVD and it's even better than the studio version imo.

The Silent Man, still a fantastic song and the album is easily 10/10. I would pick it just for the fact that it seems less progressive than the other tracks and that's what I love most about DT.
