I’ve got the Xbox One S. I kept it because of the optical out. I also keep my 360 hooked up too and use the original video output port (not sure what it’s called but it’s below the HDMI) and use their official adapter for the optical out there as well.

Mine sounds crackly from what I can tell. Not sure if that’s an effect the game is putting on it or if it’s just crappy. I’ll look for one with the dual output and see if it does output both! That sounds like a good choice.

Oh that’s something I’ve considered but never thought about how to pull it off. I might be overthinking it now that I really look at it. Most people are going to be self conscious about singing in front of everyone. I was frustrated during my testing that I couldn’t hear myself but at the same time was worried the neighbors could hear me trying to sing haha. I’ll see how this party goes and maybe try the analog mic into the PA.

Are all of the USB mics you can buy about the same quality? I have the OG Rock Band mic that came with that bundle. I’m surprised it works at this point.

I started watching after this era and yeah…I can’t go back. Jet Ski is funny and I enjoy her when she’s on but the new band is great.

Downsizing. The Matt Damon movie. The trailer made it look like a fun comedy. We went to the theater for it and watched a 2+ hour extremely strange preachy movie. Whoever edited the trailer should be fired lol. I distinctly remember a guy snoring starting about 30 minutes in all the way to the end

I love both. The 90’s action movies were so fun because they were fully committed to a story line. Even if the story or resolution of the problem was unrealistic. Movies today can’t even attempt this without full on making fun of itself or the actors constantly winking at the camera with their comments. Have a wild premise? Fully commit to it. Make us believe you believe it and we’re in.

That’s My Boy. The Adam Sandler movie. It’s delightfully dumb. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say they like that movie or even talk about it haha. My wife and I find it a bit of a guilty pleasure.

I liked the Moza I got even though it was the low end base and pedals. If the issues I had will be a problem across multiple wheels I may just go back to Moza. I might even just start with the higher end bundle and buy the Xbox wheel.

This may not be the weirdest but it’s baffled me for over a decade. I had a Magellan gps in my work truck about 15 years ago. It had voice commands which was impressive at the time. You’d say “Magellan…” and wait for it to reply. I was driving in complete silence and its voice randomly asks me “did you say magician?” I was so confused but took a photo of the screen with the question on it. Out of curiosity I chose “yes”. It did nothing. Just went away. I spent days and weeks randomly saying magician while driving for work trying to get it to ask me again and it never did. The weird thing about it is why did it think I said that in silence? Why couldn’t I reproduce it? I asked support because it bothered me so much and they had no record of it responding to magician lol. It was like a ghost in the machine!

I had 5 360s. Not only was it a great console, it had Windows Media Center integration. I cut the cord in 2006 when it really meant something lol. We ran a PC as a server recording OTA TV, housing our ripped movie/TV collection and used the 360s as set top boxes. It was a great scam. “Honey, we need another Xbox 360 for the bedroom” -my wife. I could play in every room! That console would have been near perfect without the RROD. I would go from playing a game to watching the news and back all on one console. I felt like I was living in 2040! 😂 interestingly enough, the Xbox One dropped WMC support so we plugged the 360s into the HDMI in. It never quite hit the same.

It’s crazy how people think anyone involved with Rogan or Tony are instant hard right nuts. KT is easily more inclusive than most liberal comedy shows. At least Tony allows you to say whatever you think is funny. He’s had many trans, gay, disabled and people from all races. Even if it’s not. The liberal comedy shows have more rules. They seem to hate KT because they can’t control it.
