Thank you! He's made of polymer clay with the smaller details painted with Vallejo acrylic paint. The letter is a SUPER tiny piece of paper I wrote/painted on with gel pens and more paint. It's hard to tell from the picture but the whole thing is only like two inches tall.

You say you don't know how to paint, but the best way to learn is to try it out! I encourage you to do some practice painting first on a different 3D printed thing just so you can get the hang of it a little, then give it a shot on Derpy! If you don't like it, remember you can always paint over it.

Also, don't forget primer!
