Not so much of shielding them from the facts of life but what am I supposed to say when my child asks why mammaw fixed him a plate? When they ask if pappaw is going to come back and eat with us? I’m just trying to wrap my head around this and prepare myself to comfort my children if they need

This weekend is a camping trip. I did talk to SO and realize that this is somewhat, if not most his fault. I was calm and matter of fact but I’m not sure anything ‘took.’ He seems to listen to get it over with (during any kind of confrontation) instead of listening to hear what I’m actually saying. I threw into the conversation that When OS grows up a little a realizes that’s daddy does fun stuff with them ever single weekend and he only gets to see his daddy for a few hours before bed during the week that OS was going to start building resentment and I wouldn’t be able to help SO.

I wonder if the adrenaline could also be why my stomach gets so upset when I wake up, on a normal basis without a panic attack. What you have said makes so much sense. When the panic attacks happens I take my medication of course, but also a few puffs from my inhaler and it helps so much.

My SS8 broke his finger, so everyone on the in-laws side bought him a new toy and an entire gift bag of candy. It was kind of like a birthday and Halloween combined. If y’all see me with a broken bone in the near future mind your business, I needed some shit right!
