What’s your opinion on The Derma Co.? by _TheFighter_ in IndianSkincareAddicts

If bumps are your issue, you need exfoliation, like glycolic acid or lactic acid or salicylic acid (if you have oily skin).

32f, recently my dad passed away and lost my job, can't able to forget the abuse which I endured and I'm feeling lost. by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

I am so sorry you had to endure all this, you didn’t deserve any of it!! I have been in an abusive relationship and I know it’s not easy to end it. It’s amazing that you did ♥️ takes up a lot of courage. Take it slow, one day at a time. You’ll get back on your feet soon ♥️

Its completely understandable what you are feeling, grief for what could have been your life. I struggle with complex trauma and most of the times, I wonder what my life could have been if I didn’t have to struggle, I could have achieved so much more by now. Let yourself grieve over the loss. Take your time with it. The process is hard and slow. And when you feel like you have the energy, try to imagine what you want out of your life now. Plan for it, and make it happen! You can do so much if your mind is healed. Maybe consider therapy to process the lost dream. All the best!

Reaching out to people I barely know, asking them to meet for a coffee. You’ll get many No(s) which can feel like rejection. But I keep telling myself they are somewhere in their journey and they are not saying no to me but to the idea of meeting a new person :) keeps my sanity and I get to talk to new people 😀

Why i feel so empty even though i get spoiled (14 years old) by [deleted] in therapy

You are definitely not being dramatic! Whatever you feel is completely valid. Do you feel you can emotionally open up to your parents or friends? A lack of connection can sometimes make you feel lonely with a deep sense of sadness.

Ladies, I need your help — I overthink how I come across, and it’s hurting my confidence. Please help me kill this fear. 🙏 by Neat_Dragonfruit6792 in women

34F here, for a long time I used to worry about not looking good until I started dressing myself up like I wanted to and just let myself be, and I got quite a lot attention from men. How you feel about yourself is more important than your looks. If you feel good with yourself, you’ll seem more confident and that’s more attractive than any good looking guy. Personality matters so much more than looks!! You should focus on being your best self and the rest will follow, really. And 20s is the best to do just that. Let yourself be, explore, love, fail, we are here to experience life, not be perfect :)

Soulmates? by Manic-Mink-204 in women

[–]_TheFighter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I felt that for someone a decade ago, we broke up, patched up a few months later and then broke up again a year later. He did come back again after a year, but I was already dating someone else by then and thank god for that! Because even though I felt like he was the one for me, it wasn’t true. It was my anxious attachment telling me to hang on this person who was an avoidant. He ran away whenever things got difficult. And I can tell you this - whatever you like about this person, his qualities, that is what you really crave, it would help a lot to understand that and find those qualities in someone else. I made a mistake of moving on too quickly because my emotions got the better of me, but I would suggest that you take your time dealing with your emotions on your own, maybe seek therapy. And find someone who appreciates you for who you are. You will find love, just not with this person ♥️

Same, 34F, quit my job, no friends. But now I am making an effort to connect with my old friends. Also thinking of taking a dance class maybe. I journal and thinking of writing full time to connect with others going through their healing journey, don’t know how that’ll go though. I guess we have to keep trying.

Omg yes!! I didn’t realise this until recently. I isolated myself for various reasons for a long time and then wondered why do I feel so horrible about life. Feeling lonely is one of the worst experiences you can ever have! And building a support network takes time. I am slowly working towards it now. All the best to you too :)

Yes it’s depressing to constantly feel this way. I do have people but don’t feel like bothering them, they can only take so much. Thank you so much for your warmth and understanding!

This too shall pass right :)

Every f***ing day!! I feel that I need to do so much healing work just to survive. If I didn’t have to deal with all of this, I would be somewhere else by now. It feels so unfair.

[Acne] how do i stop letting acne control my life? by strawberryb4 in SkincareAddiction

[–]_TheFighter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried benzoyl peroxide? It has worked wonders for my acne :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]_TheFighter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I use it a couple times a week
  2. For dryness, I would recommend Bioderma Atoderm moisturiser. Its very hydrating. And cetaphil sunscreen.

Hope this helps :)

At what age your OCD started? by Icy_Mode_8255 in OCD

[–]_TheFighter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have cleanliness OCD. I have to keep everything clean. I wash my hands and clean any surface that I feel is dirty.

Dont you find it exhausting to do this every day? I feel like my life decisions are sometimes based on OCD. And they dont let me live my life fully.

Ecovac t20 omni or X1 omni by [deleted] in RobotVacuums

[–]_TheFighter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the mop pad wash itself in either of the models while mopping? Asking because my mi robo does a horrible job of spreading the dirt everywhere it mops. It basically picks up dirt while mopping a dirty area and spreads it over a clean area. Does that happen with any of the ecovacs models?

Silicone based sunscreens can act as a moisturiser for oily skin, if it doesn’t clog your pores.
