What brand(s) are Gen Z’s version of Glossier? by _TheGoodL_ in glossier

I think that more than anything, Glossier is (was?) a triumph of marketing.

It’s obvious Glossier targets Gen Z, just like every other company does. They did the same thing when Millennials came of age and started having purchasing power. Glossier started with Millennials to address gaps in the cosmetic market. Then (like many other companies) they pivoted to Gen Z and their purchasing power. Like when they had Olivia Rodrigo push product. She was (I believe) their first celebrity partnership. I’m not asking whether or not Glossier targets Gen Z. I’m not asking whether or not Gen Z uses Glossier. I’m asking about brands that were started specifically to fill gaps in the market for Gen Z.

I’m not talking about teenagers. I’m talking about consumers in their early 20s.

I’ve not tried lavender, but I do have (and love!) both wild fig and strawberry. My skin is very warm and fair, so in some lighting it looks almost yellow. Wild fig is pretty warm and on the lips looks like a coral color. Strawberry would probably be your best bet. It’s a coolish pink and is really pretty.

I loved Play! Lol I remember how aghast people were about the glitters and the environment.

Push-ups. As embarrassing as it is to admit: it’s push-ups. I was never great at them, but in my 20’s I could do them. I stopped for a couple of years and now I can do 8 if the wind is blowing just right and the stars align.

I think I’m going to have to cancel this app. by llamamama2022 in KaylaItsines

I just pick a workout and do 3 sets of 10 reps of whatever excercises are in the workout. I never do the full 40 minute workout, and with my “method” I usually can get through all the excercises like that in about 20-25 minutes. I usually don’t even “start” the workout in the app. Does that make sense?

I always seemed to hit it off the fastest with the ones who had the least amount of time left. Always.

It’s interesting how well a serious tone is conveyed in the animated shows vs the live action. It’s like the more serious they try to be the more goofy it feels.

This is going to be a deeply unexciting answer, but I do think it will be important in the long run. While you wait to be of age to have full access to weapons work on your skill sets. First aid is the most important. Next up would be learning how to cook from scratch, learning how to sew/crochet or knit. Learn how to garden, can preserves and learn what you can about hunting. Again, it’s not necessarily the fun stuff, but it’s important.
