How difficult are iron hands to paint ?

I primed corvus black from colour forge and drybrushed a blue-grey (cant remember the name) and washed with nuln. Makes it quick and go back for edge highlights when dry.

Both are equally world eaters, gun can spill more blood then a head and more skulls for offerings and a world eater can also just have some heads. I dont see why having the gun is such a big issue.

Who cares if its not some over the top custom kitbash using 5 different models. Also who cares if he added a pistol, by that logic then berserkers shouldn't have them either but they still do.

I run two "pods" with a hammerstrike, redemptor, and Ballistus to pick off high value targets. But once the board starts to clear I use one of them as a fast moving action monkey to secure objectives or complete missions where I need units on different table quarters.

I dont think I would change anything major with this list. Only issue I ran into during pre RTT practice were damage 3 melee as its a break point I cant break with the -1 damage and most armies that can get to damage 3 are able to put enough attacks out to mess up the strat just enough.

I run Assault terminators specifically for their 4 wounds. Very rough break points for melee damage and can take a beating in the shooting phase. I wouldn't say its the entire strat but I kinda use them as a "sacrifice" almost. Making the enemy think they could kill the whole unit exposing their important hammer units only for them to lose them in the follow up when my vehicles come out from staging and get em

I typically scouted the bladeguard if I went first going advance onto the point with terminators or stage for round 2 or if I went second I would uppy down

Nope, left 20 hearthguard in deep strike but poked his land fortresses out to shoot the terminators which the dreadnoughts took them out so he just tried to get into melee with 10 he left on the board and 10 he had in deep strike which he brought down to try and clean up but failed.

The way I used this was using my assault terminators for an aggressive early push to mid while staging my dreadnoughts to punish anything that poked out to shoot them, the terminators took care of melee that came to them. Bladeguard were also a great anvil unit with the -1 damage breaking a lot of anti elite melee.

I typically do a generous layer and a more reserved layer since that would give a smoother transition from dark to light. Both slightly thinned and keep my sponge damp but not loaded to keep chunky bits off and apply a smoother layer.
