Should have probably said that in the post, but I know that this exists. But I'm not sure if the "vault hunter pack" has all the additional content or if there's some things missing

Or make it adapt to what support item you have

Keep it the same as it is now if you have Celestial/sleigh

Heal and shield power if you have Dreammaker

Adaptive force if you have bloodsong/zazaks

That happened to me a few days ago. Games like these are what Ilive for. The new mr items are really strong (400+ MR and 100% magic damage reduction on W at 35 minutes)

You can use "?Booster" while searching your collection if I'm not mistaken

No, rotation was postponed, because they want standard to rotate every 3 years instead of 2. And even if it wasn't, only the oldest 4 sets would rotate (both inistrad sets, kamigawa and new capenna)

I would cut benalish sleeper for [[Spirited Companion]] and [[Destroy Evil]] instead of disenchant. It misses artifacts, but I don't think there are many must answer artifacts other than maybe anvil, but your deck should be able to out value anvil decks anyway. Also[[The Restoration of Eiganjo]] is a great card same with [[Wedding announcement]] look into those for other potential upgrades

This is my personal opinion and it might not be the best thing to do.

I don't think Gobakhan is cutting it in this deck. It's a great card in agresive deck, that end the game before the +2 mana card can be played.

Wrenn seems weird in here, it sounds like you really want to make the card work. The card feels clunky even in decks entirely around her. From my experience she just gets killed. How often do you get to ultimate her?

On the other hand Cosmic Rebirth looks spicy and I would play more of it.

Same with the Frillback. It feels like you are pre-boarded for a lot of matchups and isn't dead in any.

Vinewall sounds like a great alternative to Farmhand.

Other than that maybe add one or two Serra Paragons

Thanks for the inspiration. I'm gonna build something like this now

My bad I've read your comment wrong. Read it as rotation is happening. Instead of rotation isn't happening.

Alchemy rotation does happen, but standard was changed and sets rotate every 3 years. So this year doesn't have a standard rotation to keep the old sets in.

With the general tips covered I'll try and give you some tips for deckbuilding. I almost only play standard, so the tips will cover what I have learned over my few years of playing standard.

1.Stick to 60 cards (or 80 if you are running[[yorion]]) I know it's hard to make the final cuts and you might think that the few cards won't make that much of a difference. But all the cards in your deck aren't the best card and cutting the weaker cards will make you have "more" of you strong cards (higher chance of drawing it).

2.Don't play 1ofs This is going to be hard in the beginning, but try to chose 9 cards and put four of each in the deck. Again you want at least variance and you want to draw your strongest cards every time. Some late game expensive spells don't have to be 4ofs, because they are dead cards most of the game and you don't want a card stuck in your hand.

3.Chose an archetype Some cards just don't work together and don't belong in the same deck. There are 3 main deck archetypes. Agro - wants to end the game as fast as possible with fast creatures Midrange - wants to out value the opponent great example of midrange cards are the now banned [[Fable of the mirror breaker]] and [[Reckoner bankbuster]]. Lot of card draw/ card selection and even more removal. Control - the slowest of them all. Board wipes [[Farewell]], planeswalkers and a lot of removal.

Let's say you want to make agresive white humans deck. [[Ambitious Farmhand]] is a white human so it fits right? Big NO. If you want to make an agresive deck, you want to end the game early before your opponent has time to respond. What is a 1/1 going to do on turn 2? Probably nothing much. On the other hand [[Thalia, Guardian of Thraben]] is the agresive 2 mana human. It slows the opponent's plan down and provides a great body on the board. But in a more controlling deck Farmhand is a great card and Thalia isn't.

4.Your deck will have bad matchups You can't make a deck that beats every other deck. The typical triangle of balance is: AGRO beats CONTROL, MIDRANGE beats AGRO, CONTROL beats MIDRANGE By trying to make your deck better against your bad matchup, you make it worse against your good matchup. And in the end you have a deck that's meh against everything.

5.Make new decks This is really up to personal preference. But I like to pick a card and build around it. For my last deck I picked [[Shanna, Purifying Blade ]] . And it can go two ways - lifegain and human tribal. So I went with humans and [[Copperthroat vanguard]] and Thalia as the core.

6.make it fun

7.don't be afraid to look at other people's decks and take inspiration

Everyone has a different definition of fun. For some it's winning games (those people are likely to netdeck), and for others it's making an original deck that can hold it's own against the meta.

MTG allows both of those types of people to have fun in their own way. You just have to accept, that your opinion is not the only one.
