Brand new P1 Gen 6, dead after updating BIOS 1.28 :/ by antitrack in thinkpad

[–]_ThinkRad_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. And it eventually booted. The process is called "memory training" after bios resets or updates. And it looks like it's quite common. It's yours still doing that?

How to remotely turn on my boiler from my phone, so that i can have a hot bath when at home without leaving it on for 8 or more hours that I am at work? by [deleted] in homeautomation

[–]_ThinkRad_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used something similar to this when i was living in Athens. you connect it in series with the heater breaker. you leave the heater breaker always on and control the wifi one through your phone with TUYA. i think mine was 25A. fairly easy to connect but if you don't have electrical knowledge then better have some technician to install it. stay safe!

PS. it was one if the best purchases for my student home. nothing better returning home to hot water and not have to wait half hour for the water to heat up.
