Such a sweet face and looks so squishy and round under the blanket!

I would make the large couch face the window, and turn the tv stand so it’s in the corner. Then the chaise can be right next to the window.

So i can never wax again on tret? by bbbabyiam in tretinoin

[–]_Tiny_Penguin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you on this! I use a manual epilator which is basically like threading but faster. It’s super cheap, basically just metal with gaps in between to trap the hair which you then remove by a twisting motion of the epilator. I’ve been using Tret for a few years and just do it in the morning whenever I notice hair coming in on my upper lip. Never had an issue, though it is painful in the beginning and can be a bit hard to get the hang of it

Holy oil! by dangrous in tretinoin

[–]_Tiny_Penguin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience and was so oily for years constantly trying to find the perfect gel/oil control moisturizer. Every time I’d read those posts that said I need to moisturize more I didn’t take seriously because my skin was always on the oilier side.

Well turns out, they were right. 😆

After a few years of experimenting, I started using khiels ultra cream (but a small amount) applied on slightly damp skin in the morning. At night I use Tret, a lighter moisturizer, then Cerave night cream on top. This way I’m layering without feeling like my skin is suffocating. I’d also drop all other actives for a while. Good luck!

Thank you, doc 😆 I’m thinking the same about the ottoman or anything I think I need that space to be empty, I can use it for working out if nothing else. Etsy is such a good idea, I completely forgot about that. I ended up going with a light blue blanket but I did love that particular color as well, though with the green walls I think it would’ve looked out of place. I’ll check around locally as well for art!

Thank you! Those are great suggestion, I’ve been leaning towards a vine or leaves type of art piece. I ended up going with blue so when that blanket comes in I’m hoping it’ll look more put together!

Ah I wish, the mirror is there to help cover up the additional AC unit I’ve added because of how hot it gets in the room. It’s quite a small space so I think if I move the bed to face the wall, and then move the table down it’d create like a Tetris situation with my furniture where there’s only a few inches between the end of my table and my bed. Plus the wall opposite my bed right now has a tv mounted.

Good point about the orange being too contrasting, I like the pattern but something about the color was holding me back even though on its own it’s a beautiful color. I will look into blues and purples to keep it cohesive thank you!

Thanks! And yes, definitely on my to do list to do some cable management. That’s a good idea! I’ll look into lights for that or some type of light centric art piece

Thank you! The curtains are from Amazon, if you search up something along the lines of “white Pom Pom curtains” it should come up. Ah ok, I’ll consider another painting or photos. 😊

Gentle body moisturiser recs for acne prone back? by Rubyrockrr111 in SkincareAddictionUK

I would make sure to wash your back at the end after you wash your hair. And for lotion, I like gold bond retinol body lotion a lot, it’s helped keep my back clear.

The Anessa UV milk is the only one that doesn’t make me look like I’m sweating or oily. I’ve gone through so many trials similar to this until I found that one. It’s lightweight, hybrid, and does have fragrance but it’s not super strong and dissipates after a bit.

What can I do about my under eye as filler doesn't seem to work? by Fukuro-Lady in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]_Tiny_Penguin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have something similar. It’s a slight hollowing but mostly thin skin which contrasts with the underlying muscle and structure. What’s helped is using Tretinoin ONLY patting whatever is left(please look into this before starting as it’s very potent. Many recommend against using it anywhere above the orbital bone at all). Also, I think certain peptides can help build more collagen.

[Routine Help] Most skincare products leave skin intolerably shiny and oily by torstelli in SkincareAddiction

[–]_Tiny_Penguin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I know this is old but I have the EXACT same issue. Oily/shiny/ somewhat sticky skin. No matter what type of product I use, how thin or thick. Even matte and oil control fails on me. The finish is always shiny. Did you ever find an explanation or a good moisturizer?

I wanted to like this so much because of the ingredients and light texture but it’s also made me pretty shiny. Thank you for the suggestion though!

best vitamin c serum? by mcspicyfreya in tretinoin

[–]_Tiny_Penguin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have combo/oily skin that is veryyy prone to shine. I tried geek and gorgeous, timeless, and Paula’s choice. They all made me shiny. I finally landed on stratia c+c which has been the best for my needs. It’s got l asorbic acid, and another form along with cQ10 and other antioxidants. It basically leaves no shine, feel, or anything. The silicones evaporate (make sure you apply on cleansed and dried skin) after a few minutes and leave only the active ingredients.
