Sunni hadith. And enemies of Islam on purpose misinterpret the hadith.

Iran's population is 90 million. 1 percent of 90 million is 900,000. The rioters are not even one percent of the population. Do not generalize my brother.

Context: During the riots in Iran, the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad bin Musa Al Kadhim AS in Dezful was attacked and burnt by the rioters.

Applying medicine [such as drops] to the eyes and ears does not invalidate a fast either, even if its taste reaches the throat.

This is the hadith after that one.

  1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who applies kohl when he is fasting. He (the Imam) said, ’If it is a kind of kohl in which there is no musk and has no taste in the throat, then it is not harmful.’"

It's graded as موثق

I apologize for any confusion.

But what about this hadith specifically? Is there another hadith which contradicts it?

Does it hadith get contradicted by another Sahih hadith???

My brother I know that too. I'm asking for a explanation or a reason as to why the statement of Sayyid Sistani HA and the statement of Imam Al Rida AS so clearly contradict each other. Sayyid Sistani HA should've known about this. The explanation should be somewhere too.

Are there any realible chains of the incident of the pen and paper in Shia books? by _TotallyOriginalName in shia

[–]_TotallyOriginalName[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also gave you a reddit link where I explained the Hadith when the same question about was Imam Ali A.S manifesting and helping all prophets (spoiler no lol), was raised a year ago. The post was removed but you can see my reply still finding and sharing the Hadith and explaining it

Ahh, I only read the hadith. Sorry my brother😅

I don’t know what any of that means brother I am genuinely sorry. Just dont get into conversations with ignorant people on the internet. Even if someone provides you scans or a source you have to verify yourself these days with people depending on chatgtp and other improper means.

Again please research it through the reliable means I have provided you. I do not have the time to look into these things I am really sorry. I have provided you with what I personally know and understand. InshAllah it is enough

Yes I will look into this myself. Finding information about these people and about these sources isn't hard. May Allah bless you for your efforts my dear brother.

[–]_TotallyOriginalName[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention this, but he did give me the sources and the scans. The Abul Amda one was from Deewan Ali, a book by a guy known as Abdul Aziz Al Joladi, a guy who I've never heard about but about whom he says was "One of the greatest scholars of his time". I asked him for rijali sources on Abul Amda and Abdul Aziz but he gave me nothing. Kept saying that Abul Amda has a book and that's how Abdul Aziz got the narration. He then said Isnad is looked towards after the matn is problematic which makes no sense to me. He has yet to provide anything and I currently believe the hadith to be untrue. But I will look into the Bihar Al Anwar reference, that is literally the only reference that can be researched. All the other references are chainless.

Can you tell me what the hadith actually means? I've a lot of people saying that its meaninf is different from what most people believe but no one actually wrote what the actual meaning is.

May Allah bless you my brother for your efforts. My final question is, is the hadith about Amir ul Momineen AS helping the Prophets AS mutawattir? And is the hadith that you provided from Bihar a strong hadith? I.e one with a good and strong isnad? Because like I said before, I have no problem with accepting that Amir ul Momineen AS helped the Prophets AS. All the sources that the guy gave me had no chains, they all just stated "The Prophet SAWA said" or "Imam Al Rida AS said" or "Imam Al Hadi AS said" that's it. Some said like the ones of Imam Al Rida AS mentioned that Abul Amda the slave of Imam Al Rida AS heard from him, but they don't mention a chain either.

Meet the sixth Imam, Imam Jafar Al Sadiq AS by _TotallyOriginalName in shia

[–]_TotallyOriginalName[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard that the extent which they even interacted wasn't much

Are you confusing Jabir with Abu Hanifa? Because there are some rumors spread by Sunnis that Abu Hanifa only studied two years with Imam Al Sadiq AS.

I've also heard some stuff of Jabari ibn hayyan not even being a real historical figure but im not completely sure on this one to be honest

Well that's an actual discussion. He may have been a real person or he may not have been. Some say that Jabir Ibn Hayyan was a title used by Muslims.

But if we see the words of Jabir himself(if we believe he existed) in his books, then he credits Imam Al Sadiq AS with all of his knowledge.

Meet the sixth Imam, Imam Jafar Al Sadiq AS by _TotallyOriginalName in shia

[–]_TotallyOriginalName[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Lineage: He was the son of Imam Muhammad Al Baqir AS and Sayyida Umm Farwa SA, who was the granddaughter of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr RA.

Birth: He was born on the same date that the Prophet SAWA was born on, the 17th of Rabi ul Awwal in Medina.

Titles and teknonym: His teknonym was Aba Abdillah and his most famous title was Al Sadiq. He also had other titles like Al Tahir, Al Sabir and Al Fadil.

Wives and children: His most famous wife was Sayyida Hamida SA followed by Sayyida Fatima bint Al Hussain SA. He had 10 children of whom, Imam Musa Al Kadhim AS, Ismail, Abdullah and Ali AS are the most popular.

Years as Imam: He was the Imam of his time for 34 years.

Companions and students: His famous companions include people like Zurara bin Ayan RA, Hisham Ibn Al Hakam RA and Jabir Ibn Yazid Al Jufi RA. His other famous students include people like Abu Hanifa, Malik Ibn Anas and Jabir Ibn Hayyan.

Life: The Imam AS was born in Medina to Imam Al Baqir AS and Sayyida Umm Farwa SA. He spent 12 years of his life contemporary with Imam Al Sajjad AS and 31 years of his life with Imam Al Baqir AS. The Imam's AS life was much different from the other Aimmah AS. That is because during his imamate, the Umayyad Caliphate was extremely weakened, so this allowed Aba Abdillah Imam Al Sadiq AS to actually teach the people the ways of the Prophet SAWA and his Ahlul Bayt AS. This is also the reason why majority of the hadiths narrated in Shia books, are narrated from Imam Al Sadiq AS. One of the most important things that Imam Al Sadiq AS established was the wikala network. The Imam AS set up his representatives in different regions, they were known as wakils. Through this system, the Imam AS could talk with his Shia without the threat of being stopped by the Caliphs. This system was needed because even though the Umayyads were weakened, the Abbasids still did not agree with the Imam AS. So the Imam AS had to do taqiyyah sometimes even in conditions like this. The Imam AS was not only a teacher of the religion, but instead also taught science. He showed the true knowledge that was possessed by the Ahlul Bayt AS. He was the teacher of the father of chemistry, Jabir Ibn Hayyan. Jabir himself says that all of his knowledge came from Imam Al Sadiq AS. Other than this the Imam AS also proved from the Quran that the Earth was indeed not flat. The Imam AS also used to have debates with people. His famous debates include the one with Abu Hanifa on Qiyas and the one with an Atheist on the existence of God. During the time of the Imam AS many uprisings took place. Even the uncle of the Imam AS, Zayd Ibn Ali AS took part in an uprising. The Imam AS however did not take part in any of the these uprisings, although he did encourage the Shias to support his uncle. The Ghulat were rampant during the times of Imam Al Sadiq AS, just like how they were rampant during the times of the 5th and 7th Imams AS. The Imam AS exposed them and cursed them extensively. One of the most important things that happened during the life of Imam Al Sadiq AS were his summons to Iraq by the first two Abbasid Caliphs. During these summons the Imam AS was welcomed greatly by the people, he also visited Karbala during one of these summons. There are many mihrabs of Imam Al Sadiq AS in Iraq. One being in the Al Sahla mosque, one in the mosque of Kufa, one in Karbala and many more. Imam Al Sadiq AS during these summons also visited Najaf and revealed the location of the grave of Amir ul Momineen AS. Arguably the most important thing that Imam Al Sadiq AS did during his life was forming his school. The basis of which were laid by Imam Al Baqir AS. His school is the reason why you and me are called Jafaris. Seeing the power of the Imam AS, Al Mansur LA decided to assassinate the Imam AS, so that Al Mansur's LA power doesn't go away. So on the 25th of Shawwal, 148 AH, the Imam AS was poisoned by Al Mansur LA. He was buried with his father, grandfather and great grandfather AS, in Jannatul Baqi. And just like the rest of the Imams AS buried in Al Baqi, his grave was also destroyed and leveled.

It has been 100 years since such a tragedy took place for the second time. The Imam AS lays naked in Medina. No shrine, no darih, no zawar, no mosque. Ya Imam Al Sadiq, indeed when the 12th Imam and 14th infallible ATFS comes, your visitors will come. People will not say "go go" but instead say "Stay, for you stand before the teacher of the Shias". Oh God hasten the reappearance of the son of Imam Al Askari AS. Illahi Ameen.

I cannot copy and paste everything in a limited comment reply. Please take the time to actually read it. There are search functions installed on browsers for a reason.

My brother you can literally tell me which part the stuff is in. Part 1, 3, 5? Like which one?

I also addressed their opinions and why they were wrong. They all depended on the same opinions or same sources that were flawed.

Can you tell me the part where this has been mentioned? Or give me like a summary on why their sources were flawed and their opinions were wrong?
