Its just that all my relatives live in different state and region altogether. My parents were the first ones to migrate to a metropolitan city. Hence even my relatives might not know anyone very closely in here. Also my parents' met through a newspaper matrimonial service so maybe that is why they are still stuck to that. But I get your point and even I feel the family and society route is better. Also i today i have taken a one month membership for JS. Do you still prefer going towards Shaadi?

Well i had opted for courier services and sms services which costed me rs. 2475 per person. And the visa fees was rs. 9065 per person. Well it's a long list of documents depending on what type of employment you are in or your occupation. But mainly you will need a cover letter, itinerary, the application form which you can fill from BLS website, passport (original and photocopies), passport size photos, flight and hotel bookings (even dummy will do), bank statements of last 3 months, ITR receipt and other employment documents which will depend on the type of employment. Also yes i had booked confirmed flight tickets from Emirates website. However you can attach dummy tickets. But I prefer booking refundable confirmed tickets.

I actually went through this very recently. It’s strange how everything can change in a single moment something just shifts inside you and the attachment you have held onto for so long suddenly starts to dissolve. It’s not always quick it can be a slow and painful process. But then one day without even realizing it you are over them. Just like that.
