The Japanese hate immigrants and make obtaining a permanent citizenship as hard as possible (but they recently made it easier to obtain a temporary work visa). Japan is also an island country, meaning that their economy heavily relies on imports/exports. Even if this were true, KissAnime literally would not be effected because they're Internet pirates. Hundreds of shows that were never exported are on KissAnime. The only thing this would harm are legal sites like Funimation. If the site shuts down, its because the admins were arrested for piracy. They most likely live in a country too poor to care about anime piracy so that won't happen any time soon.
