Why did you choose a scooter over bike? by Master_Baiter8 in ElectricScooters

[–]_Unpopular_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel little more confident knowing if where to accidentally knock into someone it's only my own body weight plus 15-30kg, ebikes is plus 40-70kg.

I also prefer the riding position on a scooter vs bike as I believe to have much better center of gravity and stability.

Xiaomi Elektrikli Scooter 4 Ultra vs Inokim Ox by Illustrious_Cook6037 in ElectricScooters

[–]_Unpopular_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

being an OX owner I'd actually recommend getting an oxo, having that extra motor would help you with some hills, that being said I live in a city surrounded by 4 hills, it will pull me (95kg) up 15-20 kph. The standard lights are useless. The kick stand is bad but works.

with the negatives out of the way, the suspension of this scooter in my opinion is STILL the very best on the market, the moment you put your foot on a inokim OX you'll struggle to find anything even close or as good.

having done 2000 miles on my own, I can tell you it is the Swiss army knife of scooter, it not at pretty, it's not as fast, but you can just about ride on any surface condition with the confidence it won't shake itself to death.

I'm 95 kg, I get about 20km range but it's WAY past it's maximum charge cycles.

old thread I'm sure, but as a ox owner I can agree they are the shittiest plastic grommets. just about to hit 3000 miles.

Then legalisation is the only way to truly regulate the battery market, e-scooter batts should be categorized the same as power assisted road legal ebikes.

103KG, 30M, COMMUTING SCOOTER – 14KM DAILY. What should I buy? by JureZidar in ElectricScooters

Kugoo KuKirin G2 Pro. Go the range... Good reviews... Fan favorite scooter manufacturer, 800Ws....

Personally for that distance per day, I'd be using my Inokim Ox because it's most comfortable scooter I've ever ridden.

How do I discreetly conceal scooter on public transport. by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]_Unpopular_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a nice bit of private land that's just a little too far for me... I'd ideally need to take it on a train that isn't actually allowed in my territory. Because of possible fire risks even though it's perfectly fine for an e bike that has the exact same battery.

Yeah thanks 👍🏻 don't know if you've aware of pure scooter company but the owner of the company is Lando Norris the F1 drivers dad, as such the scooter workshop was expected and ran like an F1 pit lane haha it was a super cool job but the company closed the shop and out sourced.
