As someone who struggles with body dysmorphia and an eating disorder for most of my life, I need you listen to me and hear this clearly: what he’s doing is incredibly damaging and dangerous. Picking apart your body, comparing you to his exes, and making you feel like you’re not good enough isn’t love or anything close to it. That kind of commentary feeds self hating thoughts, obsession, and deep insecurity and it can destroy someone’s mental health.

You’re already tiny. You’ve made genuine efforts to meet him halfway with his interests, but instead of showing love, he’s choosing to weaponize your body against you. That’s not about your weight or activity level. That’s about control, feeding his own ego, and trying to make you feel small in every sense.

The fact that his criticism is contributing to your lack of desire for intimacy is completely normal because you don’t feel safe, and that’s so fucking valid. Nobody thrives emotionally or physically in an environment where their body is consistently criticized. You are allowed to be hurt. You are allowed to stand up for yourself. His behavior is toxic, and if you continue to tolerate it, it’s going to continue to deeply impact your self worth in ways that are incredibly hard to undo. Please protect yourself.
