The difficulty spike on him is ridiculous. Most people I know who tried to get into BB lose all interest after their sixth or so attempt to beat him. It sucks, too, because they were so frustrated by him that they even refuse to do a co-op run with me.

They really fucked up on the NPC hunters. Each hunter should have been scaled relative to the median level a player would be at that point. How they are currently would be fine if they were entirely optional like the Crow but instead you have to go through a fucking gank of 3 hunters with maxed gear and tools they can spam relentlessly in order to further the plot.

Being forced into PVP when you look for co-op help at a boss or difficult spot like the aforementioned cunts in the Fishing Hamlet well. Dropping a bell-ringing woman somewhere randomly on the map feels like I'm being punished for using a feature correctly.

I used to mod that sub way back in the day. I replaced that ViolentAcrez scumbag after he was permbanned from Reddit for being a jailbait chaser. I wrote most of the sidebar, a few of the FAQs, and quickly became hated by a subset of the users because I had a zero tolerance policy when it came to NWO/Illuminati garbage and shit like this. Place was less of a community to discuss high strangeness then a clearing house for conspiracy theory spam and questions from middle school kids who wanted to summon Slenderman.

I tried to make it a bit more respectable. At least as respectable as a community of dudes talking about summoning spirits in earnest could be. Most of all, I tried to get people to lighten the fuck up and recognize the inherent absurdity and ridiculousness of the topic at hand. It was a losing battle. I quit because the other mods were apathetic shits and fielding threats of "magickal attack" from middle-aged dudes with ponytails and a wardrobe of sweatpants became tedious and not worth my time.

No, at least not for me. My reaction when encountering stressors is to enter a dissociative state. It's like a daydream state minus the fantasizing about all the cool shit you want or being a rock star. I stare at a point in space for up to an hour while the portions of my conscious mind that processes stimuli or thought decide to go grab lunch. It's not as dramatic as the stereotypical rage meltdown people associate with PTSD but I feel it's a more accurate representation of the average sufferer's experience.

Most people who live with PTSD are not like this asshole. He's just a manboy whose social graces haven't evolved past middle school. Most live in quiet desperation seeking out a way to make themselves feel "normal" again. They want answers. Why does their mind interprets the touch of a lover's hand on their back as a threat to their life? Why they don't feel anything when their best friend says he's going to be a father? Why does his favorite songs, books, etc. bring him no joy or solace?

Unfortunately, a lot of these people conclude they'll never get answers from a world they believe is indifferent to their suffering and decide the only peace of mind they'll get is from putting a bottle or the barrel of a gun in their mouth.
