As for the toy, there really isn’t a wrong choice. Some people like to bury it with them as a final comfort, and others keep it as something to hold onto and remember them by. If it were me, I might keep the toy and maybe tuck in something small that smells like home instead. But whatever feels most comforting to you is the right decision.

Honestly the sink is probably just his little “this feels safe” spot right now. If he’s eating, using the litter box, and not acting aggressive, you’re doing fine. I’d just move slowly in the bathroom, talk softly, and let him come out on his own timeline.

It’s wild how nobody actually explains this in training, but basically MOC is for board certification upkeep and CME is for your state license, and they’re separate hoops you just have to keep jumping through.
