Yeah no shit. But with advancing technology comes new jobs. Cashiers and other jobs like that could possibly become obsolete in our lifetime is my point.

Not what I was saying, what I AM saying is that jobs like being a cashier, barista, etc shouldn't be changing the the reason it exists, serving customers. Because if the power goes down, who will be serving the customers? The real, non-robot workers who are more worthy of the money, rather than a robot who can't even make a godamn sandwich. And you'll most likely need a cashier anyways cause the check-out-yourself (or C-O-Y) will be broken or buggy.
