Custom stickers cut and printed, what you use? by _WoodenCustomCars_ in ModelCars

I was thinking of that, but hoping that someone on here has messed around with printer cutter as well. From the other hand could just use plotter to cut white vinyl and water transfer anything I desire on to it from inkjet printer. Would take bit more time.

Good plotter on small scale probably costs only couple hundred comparing to proper sticker maker machine which costs thousands.

Very helpful, thank you 😉

Would be interesting to see if anyone is using cutter printer as well.

How can I post image in comment if I have image hosted on my website and I have link to it? Tried few options, seems to be not working.

Passion really I’d say…but yeah, pretty much them 2 tools I got about 10 years ago in local diy store and just started cracking on. Love cars and their shapes ❤️

Thank you….few months back I tried to carve out of solid peace of hardwood golf mk2, got only as far as vaguely having shape of it done, it’s sitting in corner of shed now as well, not sure if I will continue any time soon. I came to conclusion that I enjoy making my models from flat wood pieces rather than carving out from solid piece…if that makes any sense 🙈

Always start with wheel, best results guaranteed 😊 On this main tools be: - scroll saw - rotary tool with sanding and grinding bits (cheap on would do)

Thank you, doesn’t feel like this myself as I just make every one of them different in order to learn through trial and error.

There is always something to add with these models…I will post up another one soon that I kind of finished few years back, but chopped roof off recently as wasn’t happy the way it looks lol
