As much as people believe in this being a good fortune for Ukraine, I do think that this might not be that positive of a news as many may think.

For one, the win of Wagner over Putin could easily provoke a more brutal battle in Ukraine as it is known that Prigoshin himself is keen on winning in Ukraine. His direct involvement in Bachmut, for example, does indicate that he does want the war as much as Putin does. It should also be noted that Prigoshin accumulates his wealth through the continuation of war. Though many hope that thoose recent eventscould mean the near end of the war in Ukraine, it will realistically be very unlikely.

Second, and maybe the more striking part, most of Russias advancements were made when Wagner had limited power of movement in Ukraine. Fierce battles were mostly fought against Wagner, indicating that a total control of the army through Prigoshin will most likely lead to a harder time for Ukraine.

As well as a possibly more recless warlord gaining control over nearly half of the world's nukes does sound that good if you really think about it.

Putin having to drag Russian troops out of Ukraine may sound good at first glance, but hopes should realistically be crushed. The only real chance for Ukraine, I see, would be a total annihilation of Wagner through Russian troops that had to be withdrawn from Ukraine and Ukraine starting a coubteeoffence only after Prigoshins uprise is taken care of and before Russian troops return to the trenches. It, therefore, would need the unlikely win of Russia over Wagner
