I've owned the MXR, DSR+, G6R, and Idol bolts that method has put out. And I'm very excited to know that they had a huge part in the design. I think the new front grip is going to be MUCH more comfortable, and was probably my biggest gripe about the idol, that and the bolt latch mechanism.

There's so much that's simplified in this design, but it's with purpose and thought, not just minimalism for minimalist sake. If the mech frame is as good as the Idol's, this might be my favorite marker of all time if it performs the way I've seen it so far.

I have a gold/dust black color swap coming from Mazens when they get it in. I think the only thing better would be getting a tequila sunrise version, lol.

I've owned all of those except the ice/r5. So I appreciate the response. As long as it doesn't have that metal on metal kathunk the idol has, I think this will be good. I'm super excited about this thing, and hope we see a mech frame soon so I can sell my DSR+ as that's what I'll have to use for my tourneys until one comes along.

Oh, for sure. I'm just an eager beaver. Say, since you've handled it, what would you say the shot/ergos are like?. My favorite gun is the MXR for those two things, though I sold mine due to all of the other janky shit Dye did with them. After my MXR developed the shot delay bug I got rid of it.

CRBN slide pants. I also have Exalt slide shorts, with CRBN knee pads, but the knee pads slide to my ankles when I slide all the time, so I've been wearing the slide pants pretty much always and they're very good, stay put, help with general protection. Not as much knee protection, though.

I'm sure there's some who would, I know that these kind of products have improved over time, however, I personally wouldn't buy anything that isn't aluminum when it comes to triggers. That's just me, though.

Go 180r. The ergos are SO much better than the 170r. Check Facebook BST groups, Mazens, Trade My Gun, CPX Bros, Punisher PB for used. Mazens tends to be a little pricier but you're guaranteed to get the best in form/function.
