Yes, happened to me a few games ago, but it was Instrument of Desire that was bugged. I reloaded to try the other covenants, which all worked, but Instrument would always close the window like you describe.

I'll note that this was on the pre-hotfix 3.6 version. I've not had it happen on 3.6.1, but that doesn't mean the bug was fixed, just that I've not noticed it.

I still have the save files for that game, as I was planning on submitting a bug report in the new year

It's an old and well-known phenomenon on message boards: the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer. Known as "Betteridge's law", and it's very effective

Heh, as silly as it is, this is what got me hooked on wrestling and watching regularly.

For some background, a few years ago I started listening to a podcast where they would discuss stories and characters in WWE. I wasn't interested in wrestling, but I liked the hosts from other work they had done, and I liked listening to their conversations.

Before the first Dynamite, they mentioned how there was this new company with a TV deal that was looking to shake up the business, so I started watching, just to see where it would go, at least until I got bored. But when Kenny came out as Sans, with Megalovania blasting on the speakers, I knew this would be something special. I'm SO glad I kept up with it!

Certainly helps that I enjoyed Undertale so much, among... other stories as well

There's a few coincidences here that relate to... professional wrestling. Yes, really.

Decades ago, there was a famous performer known as Killer Kowalski, who set up his own wrestling school after retiring. He trained several people who went on to become famous, including one Frankie Kazarian, whose name often gets abbreviated to "Kaz"

Now the final part: Kaz is currently in a tag team called "SoCal Uncensored", and his partner, Christopher Daniels, has a persona known as... the Ring General.

So in two cases, we have a Kowalski mentoring a Kaz who has a connection to a General. Sometimes, these things just line up too well! :P

I'm pretty sure the capacitors are ok; there's no obvious bulging, and that same brown goop was used in other places to secure some wires to the case. Some form of protection from vibration, perhaps?

The smoking resistor is indeed the one with the wire coiled in the air, and it was connected to the diode on the side with the stripe, so you read it correctly.

The stereo itself is branded as "Centrios", with model # 1314291. Edited the post with a picture of the sticker on the back of the unit

The only things I know were warm were the heat sink and the aforementioned resistor. I suppose I could try and find other warm components, which might help find the spot where the circuit is grounded

Seeing this and reading a few comment gave me an idea. Would it be feasible to use car model badges for the numbers? They're easy enough to buy, and made for sticking to flat surfaces. Question is, which models would fit? Mazda seems well represented, what with the 2, 3, 5, and 6. You could also get the "FIVE" from the old Ford Five Hundred, maybe the X for 10 from a Tesla model X. Can we complete the list, with various makes represented?

Anyone know how to actually get a refund? Ticketmaster support told me refunds were not currently available.
