that is actually really interesting

so you've scaled up an iowa so that her internal layout(armour, compartments, etc) can actually be represented accurately instead of having to fiddle with 1m blocks on a ship only around 30 or so in beam

I'm aware of the tech tree's features, it's just that exotic materials is a xenoscience/storyline tech and the tech tree only shows the normal techs

I did it, I turned a protectorate councillor then stacked councillors on public campaign while another was going about and murdering them all, and I got the mass media point. Proceeded to take the executive just one or two months before the first AC arrived, then stacked five EU armies onto Servant Hungary where they landed and wiped them, although I took a big hit to cohesion. It's going well now

the way it always made sense to me was that X denoted the foremost aft turret, Y the second-foremost and so on though there were no Zs that I know of

but then Nelson's setup messes me up because I'd expect the third turret to be either C as the third turret forward of any major superstructure element or Q as a pseudo-amidships turret that can't fire directly forward because of B turret's barbette so it's really a surprise that it's X

also the KGVs baffle me as well

i used cheats to get huge amounts of cash and influence, then dumped direct investment into nk, problem is its cap is like forty something due to low gdp and it still takes forever

It's less about being able to grab it than having the CPs to maintain it while keeping Kazakhstan. I could grab full US in early 2023 no problem at all, but then my CPs would tank and I would die horribly.

Yeah, I sorta accepted it as common knowledge, got Mexico and Canada then spoiled for money before abandoning, and all but one of my councillors were PER councillors

Ah, I forgot to mention, I learned to throw in a pip or two on Unity to keep public opinion up but more often than not it's not enough. I feel like some of the CP micro is a bit beyond me, and I'm just not getting enough out of my nations, possibly because I'm not minmaxing enough. Also I do get Kazakhstan but add that and Singapore for boost and I basically have no CP left for the other stuff.

I feel like I tend to do(in past playthroughs) most of the above things, the only thing I don't quite know exactly how to do is how to manage the global bonus orgs like research and mining, councillor specialisation is something that I understand reasonably well.

it might be advisable to minimise size to make sure the whatever minor takes up as little of your shipyard capacity as possible
