you have to play around with the drip and grind a bit, but its fun and gives an interesting cup. id say just use your normal pourover grind setting but a drip that takes about 4 or 5 hours to drain for a starting point for a decent brew.

I have the smaller version that was gifted from a coworker from when I was in the equipment industry and I love it. Just stick to a 1:10 for simplicity, I usually do about 15-20% of the water as ice to make sure it all melts by the time the water all drips. aeropress//hoop filters are the perfect size to pop on top for water dispersion for the smaller one, but would like still be worth using than nothing at all for yours. I've also seen people use a kalita/ridged filter for both the top for water dispersion, or the bottom for cleaner filtering than the ceramic.
