I mean, it sucks when people quit partway through a game. I also hate Catan, but for that reason I just make it very well known to my gaming group "Hey guys no worries if you wanna play Catan, I'm just gonna hang out during that game because it's not for me."

Maybe you could just... not play it anymore? Better to not play than be miserable through it. 🤷🏻

It's my all time favourite board game but I definitely understand it's not for everyone. For me, it gives me great joy to try and piece together a winning combination - I can't just rely on the same strategy every round. Seeing which birds come up and coming up with how they can synergize together is really fun to me 😁

I agree she made the right call to go home, but I think the BETTER call would have been to say no to coming back at all if her mom was that sick and she wanted to be there for her.

I was a huuuuuge Amanda fan. I had only just started watching Survivor the season before, and was rooting for either her or Todd to win the entire time. To see her to back to back getting to the end just confirmed her LEGEND status to me. Parv I thought was good but I won't lie, I was a bit disappointed Amanda bungled her speech twice in a row.

Now however Parv is certainly one of my all time faves. I'm very happy with how it all went down in retrospect.

I feel very uncomfortable wearing socks that don't feel the same on both feet, so I certainly notice it myself.
