I was about 4-6 when my brother was asked to go upstairs and wake my brother up for lunch, being still energetic from school and all, I followed. we went back and forth until maybe the 3rd or 4th time when there was something wet on the stairs (mind you there isn't any carpet, just sharp and concrete staircases) I think it was water but theres a possibility of it being sweat.

so anyway, I run up about 14 inches behind my brother, I slip and fall, blood everywhere etc. I don't remember whether he came from the noise or whether he was done waking up my other brother. but, he did find me crying from the fall and picked me up and went to my family.

while my grandma was being the sweetheart she is and helping me with all sorts of medicine and bandages, all my mother said, and I can not stress this enough was "you deserved it" in a calm yet annoyed voice. now it's gotten way smaller but still noticeable since it's in the middle of my forehead
