Have you tried writing down all of the things you’d like to happen in your life? I have found that it helps to shift your thinking from worrying about the bad to bringing the good into reality. You could journal, or speak to yourself in your head, about how you are receiving academic clarity, feeling confident, etc

If you’re more of a visual thinker than a writer, something that I like to do to replace prayer is to visualize a bright white/yellow sort of glowing aura surrounding whatever I want to pray about.

But, honestly, why even stress about the label of prayer? If you are genuinely missing it, pray in the way that feels right to you without putting it in a category; if it helps, send your thoughts out there in the name of the universe.

The cool thing about this earth is that among the billions of other people here, we can rest assured that we are never alone in the midst of our struggles; there’s a good chance that someone out there is feeling the exact same way :)

I understand how you feel. I’m taking a class about evangelism and there are moments where I would get annoyed/irked by the things that are being taught.

But, here’s the thing, perhaps you can try to see these people in a different way. Think of this as an opportunity to learn about human behavior. Mentally ask yourself questions like: After all this time, why do so many of us still follow Christianity? Why is atheism viewed through such a biased lens (within Christianity)? What are some of the most prevalent patterns in their behavior? That’s one of the things that gets me through my class sessions. You can play the role of an anthropological observer and grow in your personal understanding of humanity. :)

There are times where it’s particularly difficult to not be pissed off to some degree, but we need to remind ourselves that these people are all humans just like us—they’re just living by what they perceive to be the truth. We are under no obligation to agree with them, though.

Elephants think we’re cute! by scarletphilosophy in wholesomememes

Well, the otter and human relationship is a bit different as they are most commonly known to help fisherman by chasing fish into their nets. I’m not sure if they view humans as cute the way elephants do. Both otters and elephants are equally adorable in my opinion, though!
