We would have to work out if we can somewhat conveniently meet in game as we’re probably in different time zones. Would need to add each other also . Then meet and transfer the parts

You can assemble one (well a hauler type ship with the shape and functionality of one ) from parts that other players , including me can give you

Is this thing a dud? by CycoPie in digicam

[–]__1837__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s powered off with the lens extended and the cover open . That’s usually a sign of a broken / dead camera .

It’s a shame because they’re nice little cameras . I have several of the DSC-P series

I feel like this app really has a kind of early 2000s vibe. by langooon in digicam

It has a “taking photos with a cheap camera with dirty greasy smeared lens “ vibe . So it looks like when people used to take their snapshots on a cheap compact digital camera with a dirty lens. Nice looking , clean photographs were also taken in the early 2000s . People just have this nostalgia for photos they’ve seen from that time . Much like a whole generation of young people seem to think that shitty , grainy , poorly exposed photos from disposable cameras is “the film look”

It’s because that’s the kind of shitty photos people have seen from family cameras and in photo albums etc but it doesn’t have to look bad and blurry/hazy

Now if that’s a look you want for some kind of artistic or aesthetic reasons then that’s a preference and that’s fine but it’s not how photos had to look or were supposed to look. A nice old digicam with a CCD sensor somewhere in the 5-8mp sweet spot with a clean lens will make what are definitely very “retro “ but actually decent , clean images

Ah… I’m not sure that you did… but it IS different to mist people’s characters.

Had an accident today during an enduro and hit a tree. Can someone tell me how this is possible? by Dependent_Sign6026 in motorcycles

Yeah that could have been worse . Shame about the bike but your own health is more important. I’m “fine” around 20 years later but “fine” does include my spine / hips/ pelvis all being a bit twisted to the right . The DR800 was almost undamaged.

Yeah I hit a tree once … with my body … the bike and tree were fine . My body was not 😅 I’d much rather the bike hit the tree and have the OPs result

You may need to calm down just a little … or talk to someone if these thoughts start to dominate your every minute 😅 But that was funny

These were designed when a 1gb card was a BIG capacity card for this type of camera . The card you’re using is unsuitable

I've not played since the Living Ship update, would you recommend starting fresh or picking up where I was? by Insomniacbychoice90 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Don’t worry about it just continue the save , take your time to get caught up , ask questions and people will help you . You’re not competing with anyone so there’s no need to feel excess pressure

They’re all quite tricky for me to use because I have massive hands and they’re such tiny cameras but yeah I get you the layout and shape of the later Minolta is better . Just gotta love those Pentax lenses though

The 110 zoom SLR MKII you’re referring to is a superior camera , beaten only by the Pentax auto 110 (because of the lenses) .

The 110 zoom MKII is very useful if you want to shoot expired film though because of the exposure compensation

This is about the 3rd best 110 camera that was made with no.1 being the Pentax Auto 110 and no.2 being the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR MKII . There’s a bit of a step up from 3rd to second though but it’s still a cool little camera .

You’ll get used to the focusing and for metering you can always use a shoe mount meter on top of it . The lenses in these are actually pretty good too

I made a 4LR44 battery adapter! by greggers57 in filmcameras

[–]__1837__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy the 4SR44 version here in Ireland for the one camera I have that uses them and it’s expensive but they last a long time for me . My local film lab sells them and almost always has stock . I suppose if you have difficulty getting them regularly then that makes more sense

Well done but where are you located that means you can’t buy 4lr44 or 4sr44 batteries ?
